Technically they have already gimped them by adding a buit-in mic and making the screen better on this new version. There is obviously a market for those who want the 2nd analog and I am not sure why they aren't implementing it. They can rename it the PSP2 (or whatever you wish) if that makes you feel better, but this is the only reason I haven't picked one up yet.

WHy is that so hard to believe...For some people, his reasons may not prevent you from buying the game but it has prevented a lot of others.
Bottom line: If you don't like it, don't buy it...and if you do like it, who cares what other people say about it, it is just a game in the end.
but it is definitely one of the biggest successes using that style. It is nice to see someone make a note that Frank Miller wasn't the first though. :)

I played the demo on my 13" black and white tv and the graphics are Amazing! My atari controller has never been so responsive!
I assumed that the keypad would be an add-on but in the pic it looks permanently attached (in other words it is a controller/keypad).

I think the fact that it is listing:Scene it/Lips/Banjo as part of their "strongest-ever line-up" is their biggest problem

I don't believe you, and to say "blutooth sux" is to say that having a headset wired to your controller looks "cool".
On topic: I am glad that they have redisigned the D-pad so that you don't have to mod it yourself anymore.
