Tbh in recent years, I have learnt to wait till AFTER release to judge a game. Trailers and hype are the two most dangerous aspects of gaming right now before a game is released.
"People often times write up things up on a bad experience more so than on a normal or good experience. " This is kind of correct but there is still a TON of positive games out there on Steam and there is even some positive reviews on No Man's Sky as well.
I have a 980 and tbh I experienced a couple of frame drops and stutters. So I am currently waiting for a couple more patches before playing it again.
The two comments below me act as some proof to what Murray just said, which is that even that 1% is a huge number compared to the game's sale numbers, which I am sure is a LOT.
I think optimizing things on PS4 or even Xbox One is a bit easier than doing it on PC, so that's why relatively fewer people experienced issues on the PS4 version.
This needs to be acknowledged by a lot of people. Complaining on the internet won't make the game better for you nor will it help the developer know what's wrong with the game. They're people with jobs after all, it's not like they are sitting on the forums and Steam reading what a 12-year old said.
However, @Player124 HAS reported issues, as far as his comment say at least, so he has done the right thing there.
Exactly man. I am not mad at Hello Games or Sean Murray AT ALL. The game's hype kind of made things a lot harder on them than it already is. Just give them some time people.
Tbh, I am just happy they are even trying to fix it quickly, instead of waiting for weeks and months for the game's performance to get smoother and playable.
I just updated the post, and according to Murray, that 1% isn't small at all, so I don't think it's a small portion of players when this percentage translates to actual numbers.
This is his quote: "It's pretty crazy for us how many people are playing. And how large a number even 1% of that user base is."
Idk, I honestly kind of liked Transformers, even with all its flaws.
Well, you can actually do that in Dishonored 1, and be like, "Nope, not gonna fight you" with every opponent you see.
Yep no wonder you love DOOM :D Games like Dishonored that allow stealth approaches also allows you to be completely barbaric if you want, mowing down every person you see on sight.
hehehe. YOU'RE A MAD MAN. :D
Games like Dishonored are quite good because they allow players to experience them twice for the first time if that makes sense.
Stealth is a way of enjoying the game. I mostly play stealthy as well in all of the games that allow it and one of my favourites was Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor
Me too tbh. They are trying out a lot of new things while still maintaining the authenticity of the original game.
I know the first Dishonored can be played like this, I have played it several times myself. I have seen how the city's appearance changes DRASTICALLY if you play low-chaos all the time or kill everyone all the time.
However, there is a lot of missions in the first Dishonored that KIND OF oblige you to kill some characters in order to fulfil your objective.
Amazom got release dates right a couple of times before so we'll see if they are right on this one too.
I hope they include the requested features this time.
I really like it too, I am happy we are getting a normal first-person shooter finally after all these futuristic years in both the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises.
