Funny. I was on the 360 store last night and they're still selling Red Dead Redemption for $29.99
I still have the comic that came with Resident Evil when it was first released. And when SOTN came out I scored this art book and Castlevania soundtrack that had music from all the games. Same with Killer Instinct for the SNES that came with that Killer Kuts soundtrack.
Well if anyone who owns a Wii U and didn't snatch up that Metroid Prime Trilogy for $10 missed out.
The odd thing is that while the addition of trophies is nice I guess, it's not worth the price for me to play through all those games again just to get them. I still have my launch 60 gig and if I remember right that up-converted games? I mean in the end it just seems like cash grabs for those who were too young and never owned a PS2/PS3 or got rid of their PS2 or their fat PS3 YOLD'd.
Man this comment is a wreck.
I don't really know about that but I'll tell you what. I've been a 360 binge lately and just picked up Marlow Briggs and The Mask Of Death. Hahaha!!! That game is sick. It's like Shadowman meets God Of War and Shadow Complex. Never even heard of it until today and bought it.
Money well spent.
Where's Don Mattrick when you need him??
As pumped as I am for this game, I'm still a little weary. Which pretty much means I won't be watching videos or reading reviews and will judge the game after I play it. Hype trains have a tendency too get derailed.
Maybe it's posted in another article somewhere or maybe someone has asked this question. How much of these sales were at the full price of the game versus when it got a discounted price? I'm guessing that if the majority were discounted than you could say it was a failure but the exclusive route and release date kinda screwed them.
Judging by the article and all the people throwing " expected " prices out there for the PSVR, I'll go with the old Price Is Right motto and say $1.00
And the actual price is......
It's good but not the greatest which is a shame because exploring the tombs ( or lack of ), side missions or roaming around in general are all optional and the game seems more focused on action again. If you took away the name Tomb Raider/Lara Croft and just inserted some random female character it would be just another adventure game. I bought this at launch and haven't even beat it yet because it's so run of the mill and the story is not very good/engaging so the endurance DLC w...
Strange. 4 out of the 6 games were for the PS4 and the other 2 are multi platform. Guess it's Xbox for the win?
Picked up Ori and was hooked from the start. Axiom was good, Rapture, Until Dawn, very good as well. Dying Light I liked but something happened I don't know. There was a update for something and my save game got wiped out somehow and it killed it for me. Never wanted to redo all the stuff over again so I traded it. Kinda regret it but oh well, solid game though.
This game almost seems like you can create your own story out of what you are exploring. It's almost like those text adventure games I played as a kid. No graphics or when there was they were really bad but it was the world that was created through what you read and the atmosphere that made some of those games great and often times creepy.
One of the main reasons I bought the X1 was for BELOW and while OXENFREE and that Children game look interesting I doubt I'll buy either and that's because I have so many games as it is. While the PS4 and X1 will always have their " core " main sellers, for me it's always been those under the radar games that never get much mention and some are even better than their major studio counterparts at half the price.
I'll take replay and story over graphic...
Seemed decent. Picked up that Ori game last night but have yet too check it out and Tomb Raider is alright. Layers of Fear was pretty solid from what it offered but the disappointment for me was Evil Within. I beat it for PS4 and X1 ran a bundle deal a while back ago on it so I picked it up. Graphics looks a little washy compared to the PS4 version which I thought was odd since my color settings are exactly the same for both HDMI's.
The Gears remake was pretty solid, didn...
I've played Gears 2, 3, Judgment, Borderlands and Condemned so far and haven't noticed any issues. Also played DooM, DooM 2 and that Prince of Persia remake as well.
@ kenwonbi.
By the way. I'm not a dummy.
Out of all those games you listed I'll only be buying Uncharted, Zero Dawn and maybe Neir. I don't care for any of those other titles.
Obviously everyone who has disagreed with me has taken what I commented completely out of text. I own both consoles, play the majority of all my games on the PS4 and only play the exclusives that Xbox has to offer. I don't really care about the multi-pla...
I got mine a while back ago and never used it.
The title of this article should have been called " The Happy vs The Sad. "
1. PS4 owners are excited that they now have on board one of the greatest game directors around.
2. Xbone owners are a little bummed because they feel like they are going too miss out on something great.
To put a different spin on this.
Xbox owners don't have anything to worry about by Sony acquiring Hideo because in the end I believe th...
Never burned a pizza in my life while gaming. Tragedy avoided!!
On topic though... Bummer
