That's great and all but the game wasn't for me. A majority of the games that are released or series that have been around forever I won't play because they're not what I like too play so why waste my time? Never played any Final Fantasy games, Metal Gear ( the last Metal Gear I actually sat down and played was on the Nintendo ), Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Mirrors Edge and the list could go on and on after 30 plus years of gaming. Just because I won't play a game or if I try...
The said part is I fell for it and it wouldn't surprise me if people actually have done this.
I played Broforce for maybe 20 minutes and deleted it. Cool on the nostalgia factor but not much else and as far as the quality of FREE games being offered. I don't make the decisions and it certainly wouldn't warrant me to switch consoles because they are not giving me what I want. If you don't like it then stop paying for Plus and go buy a used or new X1 then pay for gold just get some " quality " titles.
@ Palitera
I can't say because I haven't played Quantum yet but by going with Remedy's track record and the play style of Alan Wake, I'm sure it will be heavily story driven and more cinematic but like some of these reviews are saying. You can skip the live action sequences.
I beat The Order and while I enjoyed the game the story was short but it was dragged out throughout the campaign, which really made everything feel slow/ short or drawn ou...
Wasn't there ad's in Alan Wake for Nokia phones and some crappy Ford car that had the MS music thing? If ad's in a video game are a deal breaker I can only imagine the sheer horror when most of you sit through an hour long tv program that's basically 15 minutes of commercials and 45 mins of product placement and subliminal messages. EDIT. The same goes for sporting events as well.
I'd say while all 3 of said games mentioned including Quantum Break have similar aspects to them, they are all different games in the end. I could sit here and pick apart every one and say positive and negative things about them but people only want too point out the negatives. Redundant gameplay.....What game doesn't have that? What's the point of motion capture if the characters can't move or react correctly? What game doesn't have that? Drawn out cut scenes, long load t...
True. I guess I left that aspect out.
I'm guessing anywhere between 80 and 97 so the average score could be around 88 or 90. Besides overall scores to me are just numbers tacked on to make the reviewer's opinion sound legit.
I could write a review without even playing the game.
" Is Quantum Break the game that will deliver an exciting action packed, story driven experience? If you've played any of Remedy's games before you will get just that and more. blah, blah, blah, blah....
Don't plug in the mic. End of story
My first reaction was Friday The 13th - Jason X........ You know that terrible one when he's in.... Space
Same here. Unless you can't download it until that day?
How long has the SF series had their female characters dressed in sleazy/revealing outfits? Probably before the women or men who are complaining about them now were even born. I know I'll get disagrees for saying this and I honestly don't care but if people can't realize what's going on here, not just in the video game industry but in the U.S. or society as a whole then you're blind.
Video games for me have always been an " escape " not from rea...
I've noticed a trend when articles about this game are released. Meaning the comments, agrees and disagrees are all over the place. I wonder how the reviews will carry over?
75 - 95 and I think you may see a lot of butt kissing by certain sites.
" From our childhood "
Lol. I was 28 when Spyro released.
For some unknown reason I was watching a walk through of this and I'm thinking too myself " why am I watching this? " While there is a niche market for it, I would never buy it but a 1.5 is pretty bad. It's almost like why bother even reviewing the game?
EDIT. I'd give it a 10 just for the sleaze factor.
Not really a killer games line up since its based on opinion. I already own Dead Space for 360 and PS3 and the other games are not my thing. I'd download them but it would be a waste of time for me because I doubt I'd even play them.
MS is still charging $19.99 for Condemned and that was a launch 360 title. I also feel bad for the people who bought RDR for $29.99 on the 360 store last week only to them have it at 75% off right now.
EDIT. Maybe it'...
I'll buy it. EDIT - If legit.
On a side note it's kinda interesting reading articles about tech stuff like this and still not knowing what it even means or what they're talking about. What's even more interesting is reading the comments and seeing how some people know everything ( which I am sure a few do ) but its apparent at times that not everyone is a software designer but are one when it comes to commenting.
This article reminds of why Sony didn't include the camera with the PS4 because it would've kept the price higher and not everyone probably wanted one. Fast forward. Now if you want the VR experience you gotta have the camera so it's a double edged sword unlike MS with Kinect which seemed forced onto you at the time of it's release and now seems " virtually " non existent anymore.
I'm gonna pass on this VR thing at least for the first 6 months or...
IGN is so irrelevant anymore it's pathetic. I'm not saying they should do us a favor and pack it up but they should pack it up because they're just embarrassing themselves.
Two things that bug me and while it's installed, I haven't played it but watched a live stream. 1. The announcer is annoying and 2 which is campaign related and that is no co-op. Hell. DooM on original PlayStation had co-op via system link, Doom 3 had co-op yet no mention at all for the new one.
Not a deal breaker but kind of a let down since I usually don't care for the multiplayer aspect.
