You do realize that if they did one yearly update then the service would fall out of maintainence and also the size of that one file will be massive and take much much longer to download.. The sixaxis tech still exists in every dualshock 3.. Sony didnt kill it off because it truly works well when it'd done right.
Warhawk was and is the best implementation of motion controls I have ever seen anywhere.. That game had it pitch perfect, the amount of control and manuverability you had with the six axis was incredible and helped to add to the immersion..
Ok I'm really tired of everyone giving nintendo credit for pioneering motion controls.. THIS IS FALSE. Nintendo is the first to make a console based purely around motion controls which helped to make the tech mainstream. Ok? So thats supposed to be an advantage? I can use 4 flash drives on my ps3 and I'm not limited to 16 gig caps. Hell I can even use external or internal hard drives with terrabytes of storage.. One step further I can network my ps3 with my pc and transfer content between the two wirelessly and quickly... I have far more storage options with the ps3 then you could ever have with the 360....

Nah physical media is far to important in the distribution equation.. There's a large number of people that dont have internet and of those that do a rather large portion still only have dial up or slow dsl.. I have a 6mps connection and it works great for online gaming but large compressed downloads are a nightmare.. If highspeed hi fidelity internet connections can be established in nearly every home then digital distribution will overtake physical formats.. This is an unlikely scenario...
Uhh yea you do have access to the buttons.. The controller sits in the top of the gun which is open faced allowing for complete access of the buttons..
Why do you continue to single out ps3 fanboys? This "opinion" is shared by a great deal of people within the industry. Kinect is far from launch ready yet microsoft is launching regardless.. Just like they did with the 360 they are too concerned with beating sony to market to focus on quality. They have this mindset that "If enough people buy off hype we can ride that gravy train long enough to allow us time to develop a properly working version"

Did you read the article or did you just scan the numbers? Because there are a number of releases that he singled out as doing better on psn then live. Psn, despite what live fanboys would have you believe, sells alot of content and is very succesful. Besides why are we playing this sales game again.. If titles do well thats all that matter, not which service sells more.. There's a reason you're losing bubbles and accumulating disagrees.
