Not if it has third party support. But didn't they make specific that NX would not have droughts like Wii U? I think they said at least 1 substantial first party/second party game a month.

@slapping Oysters....If they can get DQ and FF...KH3, Dragon Quest Builders, etc. is most likely coming as well. KH3 looks awesome so far. I think Nintendo has heard Metroid fans loud and clear. And after playing a bonafide CLASSIC (Metroid Prime Trilogy) how can we stay quiet? lol
Zelda, Luigi's Mansion and F-Zero will make me do the MC Hammer standing in line while holding the NX....LMAO.

Indeed! I have been buying and enjoying Nintendo ever since I asked my parents to buy me a NES and a Game Boy. NX? For sure. But if they can at least get Take-2 to release games on NX, they will survive. I'm excited for Dragon Quest 11 on NX (if Square will release it in the west!)....
most of those casuals didn't need another Wii.....many of them still play Wii Sports. But it's like a family board game of Monopoly. You don't need two unless it needs replacing. And Wii is like $89.99 so.......again why would they need HD Wii Sports?

There are a few games I wanted them to make for Wii U for it to at least sell Gamecube numbers. But they never came. Those games were two HD remakes: Super Mario Sunshine and Luigis Mansion. The third game was a NEW Metroid Prime!!! Now Zelda looks like a great swan song for Wii U it just came too late in the cycle. Splatoon and Super Mario Maker are fantastic new IP's. Is NX confirmed to be 9th generation? I have asked this so many times but no gamer or editor has answered confidently. Some think Scorpio sounds like 9th but everything points to 8th. I guess 9th will be 20 teraflops...joking...lol.

This might be a bit off topic but I think Nintendo knew or made a educated guess about Sony and Microsoft using this business model this generation. It used to be different colors and cosmetic changes, then slim or lite consoles, after it was bigger hard drive updates in the PS3 era and now it's more "power" updates to ship and sell more consoles. This model is a sign of the times. People upgrade technology yearly now for other products. Buyers do want more options like more 4K ...
I would pick up NX with this game...a bundle would be even better!! I bet Japan will get some type of "Golden NX" or Zelda themed console. They get all the cool stuff..lol
