It will be highly watched, enjoyed and written about......and you can criticize it....lol
Most likely...
I'll take a Switch from the toy box. ;p
The sheer fact it is taking so long for Scorpio to hit the market let's us know it's gong to be a confusing sell. Sega 32X all over again.....
And that is a problem. Scorpio having it's own section for games beside Xbox One games on the shelf is a problem. Ask Sega how well that worked....look up "Project Jupiter" which became the 32X and see how well that transitioned to their new console the Sega Saturn.
Spoiler alert: It was confusing and not successful.
They need to call it Project Confusion. I don't even think Microsoft knows what they want from Scorpio. At least PS4 Pro launched with not much confusion surrounding what it does and what games it plays. Scorpio better get the word out that is not trying to replace Xbox One or else...
@thecommentator
And you actually believe what microsoft says? If all it's going to do is be a xbox one, why did they make a big deal at the unveil?
@EddieNX
I agree, Nintendo will do fine if Switch has a awesome "on the go" experience. If they nail that aspect, that is enough to differentiate themselves from the pack. I for one can't wait play the home versions of Mario Kart and Zelda on the go. But I am a Mario Kart addict and proud of my addiction..lol.
Nintendo is not dumb despite what people think..lol. They anticipated some would grumble about the $9.99 price but they stuck to their guns because Mario is worth the price. As word of mouth gets around...and people are enjoying the game...even made some game developers GOTY lists....it will continue to sell without Nintendo feeling like they sold out Mario for free. It's all profit I'm sure. Nintendo is not crying at the bank.
Whoever tells this Laura Dale lady this information obviously wants her to leak it...lol. She is not the "keep a secret" type. LOL
If this is true, it seems like a good exclusive for Switch (timed). The Q2 release date is nice. If true...
@wonderful....
I can see how you think that but Nintendo is still pushing for Wii U sales at $299 on Nintendo.com. I would think by now they would remove it or wouldn't want to sell the console if they were not bringing any new games to it in 2017. Buying it on Wii U will be easy the first few months but knowing how Nintendo is becoming weird at demand....expect Zelda on Wii U to be hard to find by the end of summer with crazy dumb mark up prices....lol....but it's ...
Scorpio is another Halo in 4k...guessing holiday 2019..lol....Woopty doo....Switch at least has a potential GOTY for this year.
I think Switch will have more first party support from Nintendo and every major franchise it has to throw at it than any of it's 3D consoles since N64. Nintendo has too much to lose if Switch fails. They also will get second party support and a solid third party support at least on Gamecube level. I think it will be a success at $249-299.
It's not scrapped. Nintendo would not do that to a console that has an awesome software attach rate despite the low hardware sales. But it most likely will have a limited number of copies available and hard to find on Wii U by next year.
Sony and Nintendo games seriously remind you why you fell in love with games in the first place.
PS4.
Just got a PS4, getting a Switch.......whichever version plays better..
Here's an upvote sir..
Excuse my french, but Mario Kart is the shit..24 new tracks? Take my coins and rupees Nintendo.
Thanks, I totally want both of those games. PS4 has a nice library of exclusives already with many more to come. I had PS2 and PS3 so I'm a Sony first party fan.._
Tell Gamestop: "Give me the Switch...Bi##$" ;p
