Super Smash Bros., Pokemon and Animal Crossing are the rumors so far for the major "Big" Nintendo releases in 2018.....but Reggie hinted at some smaller or even unknown franchises....which I'm excited to hear about.
Metroid Prime sold very well (7.15 million for the Gamecube Prime games combined - vgchartz). Same with Super Metroid. If it's good, coupled with the type of gamers who buy Switch....it could sell the MOST ever for a game in the franchise!

With Splatoon and ARMS in the Top 10.... Nintendo proves it can launch New IP's to success. And there are confirmed more to come as stated by the producer of Super Mario Odyssey. He said Nintendo has more New IP's launching consistently over the next two years. :)

Exactly. Every major publisher has come out with praise and support (seriously). Third party sales of certain games have even sold better on Switch. I think Nintendo will have a lot of exclusives, especially by Japanese developers. Even if some are timed ahead of PS4. It's a new start for Nintendo and third party support. I would like to see this continue into all the next generations from here on out.
Pokemon Switch was probably being made at the same time the last 3DS Pokemon games were being developed. We'll see.
