You do what you gotta do to play those NES classics!
He's probably talking phones, iPad people....
I don't think he doesn't consider the competition. Just is saying that regardless of the competition, WiiU will have a good momentum that will keep them ahead because of these factors.
It's under Pikmin 3 and Wii Fit U....slated for launch window which should be by March 31st.
Excellent choice! I still have the SNES cart.
It's all about doing it well, simply doing it isn't enough. It must function in a seamless way that you don't even worry about it when playing.
NSMBW is the best selling home console game in japan since 1996. Prior to 1996, only the original Super Mario Bros. (NES) surpasses it. But not by much. The reason? THE GAME ROCKS! Once you get used to the new style, it's hard to go back because the way mario controls in 2D now is similar to his 3D controls. It's addicting.
New Super Mario Bros. U is day 1. I'm extremely excited from what i've seen in videos. But it's going to offer much much more.
Just give me my WiiU so I can play the heck out of it. The little talkers will just have to get used to it. Nintendo is shaking things up making them restless.
I've never had this many games I wanted for a launch window period since the SNES really.
I care about Paper Mario 3DS upcoming very much indeed.
How about Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta 2? And king Mario. Black Ops 2 in 1080p. DLC added free ports.
Simple: I'm buying it on Wii U.
Already pre-ordered.
I like how they have Mother (Earthbound) at number 7. Nintendo needs to get Mother 3 in north america/eu. It was released on GBA. I have never played it. I think the SNES Earthbound is getting held up on Virtual Console release because of all the pop culture references (example; melodies from Beatles songs) that need clearance. *sigh*
Anyway, great list.
The fact that the Wii Remotes are backwards compatible is a major win for the perception of value and introducing the system.
Nice!
"Examples of these sorts of collaborations include Sin & Punishment 2, Pandora’s Tower and Xenoblade Chronicles, where development is largely handled by the external developer (Treasure, Ganbarion and Monolith Soft, respectively, in the above cases), but Nintendo’s own producers oversee development and pitch in when required."
Bring the heat Nintendo!
I totally agree. Loving this game so far. I recently read a Rare interview about how the key peole would have never left had they still been with Nintendo.
Pachter alert, but that's a lot of units. Nintendo might do a million the first week (i'm assuming this is only USA) if they supply enough.
You would be correct!
Sad to see it go. Hopefully something like it in digital form can come to WiiU eShop.
Off topic: looking at that clay Mario and Bowser makes me think Nintendo should try that artstyle in something. Maybe not a full game, but maybe a clay inspired level.
