I think some naysayers forget that 360 and PS3 are around $300-$350 still.
Don't worry about them, I want the white XL to release in USA.
Epic numbers but the biggest weeks are still incoming for 3DS this holiday and early next year.
Have you read reviews for 3DS XL lately?? They are all good reviews. They seem to favor it over Vita as well. These are american reviews by the way.
As far as Japan. How can you NOT see how they favor 3DS over Vita now? Are you aware of the games that released? Or just blind? Bravely Default 38/40 famitsu. Square's best new game franchise in years. Animal Crossing: New Leaf 39/40 famitsu. Quality and quantity.
So why does every 3DS XL review recently favor it over Vita? Go read the reviews. It's a matter of opinion but most people favor 3DS over Vita for reasons I deem pretty obvious. Games!
So excited for this! So easier to help a friend now by simply taking a screenshot in the game and showing exactly where they need to go/do. Or taking a shot after you defeat some major boss battle...or beat the game 100%. Great feature.
So how will the PS4 sell? 720? When all they do is appeal to who? Playstation fans? Xbox fans? Aren't the fans enough?

This is the first console I ever pre-ordered because I knew it would sellout in the first few days. Nintendo was different (home console market wise) back in 2006 (but ready..haha).
Now they are launching with being #1 the previous generation..first time since N64 launch. It makes sense.

Cool man, I just was responding to the article that makes no good points. Nintendo has to sell games that smartphones don't offer. Quality that surpasses the average smartphone game. But Mario is in Nintendo's blood. To say that they shouldn't rely on him is like saying maybe McDonald's shouldn't rely on hamburgers. lol
About 6.4 million (as of June 2012) are japan's...so what? I don't care if half were Japan's. My point is 3DS needed every game that has been released for it to sell what it has sold. And the fact that Super Mario 3D Land is the best selling game so far is NOT a bad thing when the game is pure quality.
3DS will be around 29 million by the end of the year, if not more. 3DS launched in 2011. Need I say anymore?

Sorry, I own a PS3 and remote play is laggy and very hit or miss. I started not to respond but let's be honest: remote play is half baked!
So sad, but like a good friend...never forgotten. :)
