Sweet. I thought the control changes made UFC 2 a bit clunkier and I really didnt like it at first but the new animation system gives me hope. Also K.O. mode was a huge disappointment with the weird life bar thing but "Stand & Bang" seems like what that shouldve been in the first place.
I am going to bet that Bioware will be gone or unrecognizable by the time the next dragon age is expected to come out, and it will never see the light of day. Single Player RPG seems like the antithesis of EA right now

FOR A SMALLER COMPANY MAYBE, but Ubisoft, EA, and Activision etc. could feed the continent of Africa if they wanted too. They do not need MTs, but who is going to say no to 3.6 billion dollars per year in revenue (Activision's latest MT number). Also, MTs have not stopped EA from robbing and closing studios, so the idea that money from MTs helps their devs is nonsense.
NBA 2k18 on the other hand is a HUGE SLAP IN THE FACE. My career is the worst ive ever seen it, terrible unskippable cutscenes and an artificially long grind that almost forces you to buy VC. Seriously fuck this game i wish i could just enjoy it

I completely get that perspective, but for this case the only thing hidden behind that end game section is a cutscene which you can easily find on youtube. So it seems to me like more of an option for those who enjoy the nemesis system and want to keep doing fortress battles after the stories over, and you get rewarded with a cool cutscene if your that player. i think people are missing the point that fortresses are the marquee feature of the game and to me the most fun part. After you capture the 5 fortresses as part of the campaign, this gives you the chance to defend each of them against sauron, something you dont really get to do otherwise. Im looking forward to this part of the game to really flex the nemesis system and let me do fortresses as much as I want. If your not into that you can always put the game down and watch this one cutscene ...

UFC 2 had so much potential but your right it was usually beating itself. The game was just not responsive enough to have separate buttons for high and low parry, and so the parry guessing game became too damn annoying. If they took it out all together like you said that might be dope, instead of the constant parry counters like fight night
