I'm playing on "Story and Sword" because I like to make constant progress. Even so, I've had my ass handed to me a few times.
I could beat it on the hardest difficulty and feel a little bit better about my gaming skills and get a few more achievements, but I'm past caring about that kind of thing.
I just want to have fun.
Besides, my backlog is absurdly large (300+ games and counting), so I don't want to spend the va...
Looks fantastic to me. I also like the variety of settings. I think the game world will dwarf the worlds of the previous two Fallouts.
This is one of the best trailers I've seen in a long time. I didn't feel like they were going out of their way to try to sell us something. They just showed us what they have without any CGI or other illusions.
I'm not looking forward to months of articles and comments complaining about the graphics (which to me look great), but I am really looking forward to this game.
Calm down, son. This is merely a discussion about video games.
I will reiterate what I said, though I thought it was clearly stated: I said that the Xbox One is selling better than the Xbox 360 at a comparable time in the 360's life, meaning within the first few years.
Obviously, the One has not outsold the 360 since it hasn't been out for nearly 10 years.
Just because something is in second place does not make it a failure. I'm s...
Tomb Raider is a long-running and very successful, critically-acclaimed series.
A temporary exclusivity deal will not doom it.
If anything, this deal is giving an inordinate amount of attention to the series, which can't possibly hurt it.
If you want it ASAP, then buy it on the Xbox One. If not, then wait a bit. Either way, you'll have the same amount of fun.
I'll likely not buy it at all since it's not my thi...
The original Xbox did not so good.
The 360 did excellent, several times better than the original.
The One is doing even better than the 360 at a comparable time in the 360's life.
I think this should be the end of the hyperbole era, for it can't sustain itself what with an internet search or two almost instantly destroying any hyperbolic "facts" with just a few keystrokes.
All of the current systems are doin...
I used to get overly obsessed with achievements and trophies, but I've calmed down quite a bit. If I really like a game, I'll still tend to try to drag it out longer by getting as many achievements/trophies as I can. Mostly, though, I'll just skip over the really grindy achievements. I also rarely bother with anything that requires me to play a game more than once or on a high difficulty. I never go for multiplayer achievements/trophies, either, because I can't imagine playing...
I can't believe that people really care so much about this. I've played games in both 60 and 30 FPS and, yes, there's a difference, but they are both very playable.
My only concern is that the game is not a slideshow. If I can take a step or move the camera without whatever system I'm playing on virtually giving up, then I'm happy.
Basically, I'm almost always happy, especially now that I finally have a gaming PC. I can point, shoot, c...
Breath of Fire is a classic and the name alone evokes much nostalgia.
I'd love to see a new one that returned to the roots of the series. Dragon Quarter wasn't too bad, but it just didn't feel like a Breath of Fire game.
Breath of Fire VI being on mobile systems just doesn't feel right, either. I don't think I'll even try it out unless it's a game that you can just buy outright without a bunch of microtransactions.

This is a good idea. I had a similar idea a few years ago, where I wanted to start a gaming website without review scores. The plan was to get about four people together and have a discussion about whatever game was being reviewed. The review would basically be each person talking for five or so minutes giving their impressions and telling whether they would recommend the game. Simple as that.
The only problem is that I'm the only person I know who likes games enough to p...
I do miss the days when Squaresoft and Enix were two different companies. It seems that since the merger, the company gets more and more clueless with each passing year. I still enjoy most of their games, but I'm frequently put into panic mode every time they make an announcement. I mean, why in the hell release Dragon Quest in a new genre? Make a new game in a new genre and keep Dragon Quest in the RPG genre.
Putting part ten in the MMO genre was bad enough, but at least...
Yes, and they were all great games.
One of the great JRPG series. I've played them all and I would without hesitation purchase part six.
Games like this are the very reason I buy Playstation systems.
Make it happen, powers that be.
I'm having a great time with this game so far. I really, really like how almost every action that you do results in some sort of experience gain. The three-tier skill point system is just plain awesome.
I jump and climb a lot: Skill point gained. I fight a lot: Skill point gained. I run and jump and fight a lot just outside my safe house during the night but don't venture too far because I'm a wuss: Tons of points gained in each category.
Plus, it...
This is a great game. There are some Earthbound vibes, but I'd recommend going into it not expecting the second coming of the SNES classic.
It is a decent homage to Earthbound, however, with a lot to do and it takes place in an amusing setting. I've only put in a few hours so far, but I'd say give it a go. It's a solid, harmless, old-school style RPG.
Oh my goodness, one is selling more than the other. I am so happy. The winner is showering me with money right now and the other will cease to exist.
Yay. I'm glad I don't play games anymore. I have more time for some sale watchin'.
With the Xbox one, you should be okay with that and the internal storage. I can't speak for the other two systems, though. I own a Wii U, but I've been mostly buying physical discs that don't need to be installed.
Worst case, you can uninstall any physical games you own once you're sure you're done playing them. I'm also pretty sure that once you've bought a digital game, you can install and uninstall it as much as you want without having to buy it...
I'm going to buy this game and kill a bunch of pixels and polygons. I've been doing it for years and haven't actually killed any really people because... well, I guess it's time to reveal the truth: I have a super power. It's called COMMON SENSE!!! This power grants me many things. One of those things is the ability to realize that fake things and real things are entirely different. I know! Crazy shit right there. Also, this power helps me not eat marbles. That would be ma...
I just bought a 4TB external hard drive for my PC because of my rather large collection of HD porn. I was running out of space to install my ever-growing PC game collection (you have love those ridiculous GOG, Humble Bundle, and Steam sales).
I'll likely buy another one for my Xbox One, because I have the feeling I'm going to be buying a hell of a lot of downloadable games this generation. I really like that the option exists. The limited hard drive space scared me a ...
The first golem I fought was during a story mission where I was at the recommended level, but the battle was still a nightmare. It took forever, I went through a ton of resources, and I had the help of a sorceress. I couldn't imagine the frustration of fighting the thing on a high difficulty level.
