people are dumb enough to think Sony gave a price drop when all they did was move there SKU's around so that the 60gb appeared to be cheap. People are dumb, and the only reason the PS3 will make any kind of surge is if it keeps up with these price drops,which it will not.
to know, if it is fun for people to try and hate on Halo 3? I mean seriously, when have you ever seen a video game being pre-ordered ad 7-11? Never, thats when. to stop commentting on the crowd not being changed. who cares? do you really pay attention to the crowd when you are playing? i would rather EA put all there effort into gameplay, which it seems they did, then on the aesthetic crap, and make the game better. seriously do you ever stop playing madden and go, "man, the crowd looks like crap, i can't play this anymore?" no you don't, so stop crying about the crowd.
it makes it so someone can't keep calling "that one play that works everytime" from happening. Since it is used on both offense and defense, i feel it adds a whole new demension to the game, making it so you have to try different plays, and switch things up.
i am very excited about august, the new madden, which most people dont like but seems to be the first real next-gen football game, and one of the games i have been looking forward to for over a year in Bioshock is coming out. So personally there are 2 great games coming out this month and many more after this month this year. so I dont know why august would be considered a bad month for gaming.

I like how you try to say Halo isn't that great and because it isn't that great that so many people have bought it. Stop riding the fence about being a sony fanboy and just come out of the closet with it, you are a Sony fanboy. really surprised? Its a dragon game, with motion control and pretty graphics. I remember when people used to think this game was going to be a AAA title, and now that one of the "big" reviewers has come out, too no ones surprise they are "obviously" XBOTS and "sony haters." Haha.

the problem with next-gen video is that the next playstaion is one of the foramts, and people more than know the name "playstation." if it mwasn't for the ps3, blu-ray would be dead, because HD-DVD is better in every way, better menu's, better clarity, cheaper stand alone players. If it wasn't for the ps3, blu-ray wouldn't exist. But saying, that, if HD-DVD players become something like $150-$200, then you can count out Blu-Ray. Because, society only responds to price, not content....
I am not that surprised. Wow it has good graphics, big deal, its a dragon game, where you ride dragons around, only fun for so long. Blue Dragon I am a bit surprised, because these retarded kind of games normally get good scores with reviews. I personally hate JRPG's because I hate turn based action. But this game was supposed to be one of the best of this kind.

war will come when one of these formats make a stand alone player that is less that say $150, until then, it will be at least a couple years until one of these actually make a differnce in an everyday house hold, and not some fanboy or electronic savy person.
