this is no competion at all. GeOW2 will be the second or third best selling game of this gen only behind GTA4 and H3. I won't be surprised when it beats H3 24 sale for one console, I won't really be surprised if it comes close to beating GTA4, although that will be hard. Really the only thing I use my PS3 for now is that it plays my Blu-Ray movies. about this game makes me want it even more. Personally I never had a problem with the camera in any of the NG's. Sure the camera gets a little wacky sometimes, but what do you expect with such percision controlls that have you do everything to make the move. What do people want the camera to do? Stay in one place while you fight? Also anyone that says an 8 is bad is crazy.
I know that GTA4 is a great game. It gets so much hate towards it that it is unbelievable. It reminds me of H3, people just hatin on it like crazy, trying to do anything to stop the effect. GTA4 is a great game and alot of people are going to get the DLC. Don't be surprised that when its announced that its a whole different map as big as Liberty City, that GTA4 steals the thunder of other games being released around that same time. in NG2 there will be new enemies and new destinations and new weapons. Also Sigma will not look better or run smoother than NG2.
the score is from metacritics, and anything that has an average from 9.0 to 9.5 is AAA I believe and then anything 9.6 and over is the elusive AAAA. But normally its just any game that has an average of over 9.0 on metacritics.
I hope that after a game being out for 3 years, that it is better, or the best of them so far. I have Sigma, and I don't think it's that much better than NG:B, IMO. Just slightly upgraded graphics, thats really it, I didn't find it to be any "smoother running" than NG:B. But of course this is all my opinion. that there isn't a 90 min cut scene. If i want to watch a movie, then i will watch a movie. I have never been a fan really of any of the MGS games because I could never get past how snake would walk and run, it just seemed to unrealistic for me. But it seems that they have improved that in this one and this is a game i will be getting dont get me wrong. I just pray that there isn't actually a 90 min cut scene.

the old nintendo games weren't considered more difficult than games now and days. NG:S is a very hard game though.

it will be a commercial success, because the first wasn't by any means. But this is easily the one game i look the most forward to on any system, yes i do own all three.
According to the MGS fans, people are only suppossed to review games that they like, because remember "not everyone should review MGS4." I am glad this game is the same mechanics with new bad guys and new combos and weapons.
