great article, I have all three, and a gaming PC, it is the best option out there. If you must chose one, then its all subjective so you get the consoles you want to play the games you like.

I don't understand what is so hard to understand here. As of right now, imho, the PS3 has not offered as much in it's first 4 years as the PS2 did. Why people seem to be taking offence to this blows my mind.
And yes GWAVE, you are right, games are really all that matters and imho the PS2 offered better games in its first 4 years then the PS3 has. however with that said, the PS3 has long legs so...

MS released the Dungeon Siege franchise a while back 2K released Thrones of Agony, which was a pretty damn solide psp hack n slash. It is nice to see thisz franchise is in good hands though, SE and Obsidian with Chris Taylor supervising? This will be worth a look at the very least, if you enjoy a good ol hack n slash rpg that is.
As for Blizzard getting inspired to make a console version of their PC classics, I doupt it. They had nothing but bad experiences in the past.
