It was an insane hit on both consoles selling over 3 million on each respective console. TO play the number spinning games is for fanboys only. I guess with these kinds of cunclusions MGS 3 was in insane flop concidering it sold only 3.5 million with an install base of 80 million. Witch would be false, it sold 3.5 million and that is alot.

I run a game store in a Very large Video Rental store here in MTL, the worries in the rental industry is that sony will start selling "rental" versions of their movies and "consumer" versions. But it is all assumptions at the moment so it is always a wait and see thing.

But I do agree, DRM sucks. What scares me most though is Sony DRM on my Blu ray player. They have been way too quiet about this since they won the format war and I am worried to see what they will do once the market is well established.

Metal Gear Solid 3 sold 3.4 million with an install base of 80 million ps2's. It does make you wonder how many people actually want to play this game. I can't wait for it myself however I'm just not Sure MGS is that appealing to a broader audience. Then again I might be wrong but the numbers of MGS3 are there and they do speak volumes.. Then again MGS 4 might change all this.

Codemasters are one of the most underacted Racing game developers. Have always pushed the envelope of the racing genre so many great racing titles have come from them in the last ten year and GRID is another great example of how well they do racing games. Loved the demo, can't wait to get the full game.
