Kinect has the userbase now, that much is for sure. The real questions are, will it grow? Then again, when the Wii hit, the same questions were asked and people thought it was a fad that would die out in a year or two and those people were dead wrong.
Time will tell. One thing is for sure, it has a great start, and here is hoping MS bring out a killer App for it. I mean, I love my Kinect sports with guests and familly, but will it have more?
For now, it is ser...
you didn't answer my question, are you playing it on the PC or console?
I guess its for the same reason you feel the need to point that out?
Its about having your game being talked about. And it is being talked about and going headon with Killzone 3 is a great way to do it.
And I can confirm, BulletStorm is special, so he can be cocky, its not like it a bad product. Infact, they are both great products.
BC2 has slow slugish controls? We are not playing the same game, you play it on the PC? I am willing to bet you dont.
you know xfanboy, those maps are still there, you can still play that amazing game.
to be fair, this is a sequel to Battlefield 2, which has Jets, so they never left, and I still play that sh*t on a regular basis, BF2 is an amazing multiplayer shooter and I also get chills when I see the teaser, because I am a fan of the series, have been since BF 1942.
trend means trend, mainstream means mainstream.
and sure, Activision is helping videogames to have more of a mass appeal and awarness, but when videogames really started to be accessible for homes in the late 70s and early 80, mostly kids and teens and maybe young adults found them appealing. Now those kids and teens are parents, and even grand parents, so its just normal that videogames are mainstream.
I see what you are saying tablav, but to my understanding, mainstream means something that is available to the general population. Someone can say what ever they want about videogames having mainstream approval or not, but the bottom line is that they are available to the general population and are mainstream.
We are at a point now where I can say that Records of Agarest War is not a mainstream videogame since you will not find it easily, and Just Dance 2 is.
mainstream is not a person, mainstream means popular, and videogames are very popular.
We have ackowledged videogames as mainstream already, with our wallets.
why does it suck femshep?
easy there Wizziokid, Sony does not destroy anything, they are a perfect company that owns everyone else on a regular basis. I learned that here on N4G.
That's like saying money does not buy hapiness. Its true, but it sure does help.
I dissagree, I enjoy their products as of late Banjo Nuts and bolts was a very good platformer, the main problem with that game was its hype. And lets face it, they had the best kinect Game imho.
it's a shame when any Dev goes, especially one as Iconic as Rare.
whether its MS ruining the Studio, or Rare themselves losing their steam during the Gamecube days is a whole athe rargument, best saved for the fankids.
I hate people who talk about casual gamers like you do minty. If, the playstation 1 is the console that made it cool to game, made it mainstream, its not something from this gen alone. You need to learn what the word mainstream means, before throwing it around like you do, same goes for casual gamers.
You are talking about people, gamers like you and me, not some alien species ffs.
I got steam on my PC so its not importent to me that a limited version appears on home consoles. However if some for of steam appears on the Xbox also its good news for Xbox owners, just like it`s good news for PS3 owners.
question, how big was Demon's souls?
never mind. I found torrents and they seem to all be around 5-6 gb. Not bad for one of the best action rpgs of the last few years. I guess size does not matter. ;)
Gears 3, Forza 4, Killzone 3, Infamous 2....
Man we got a great year ahead of us.
THQ is not running its mouth Stealth20k, there was the dice convention last week and CVG is just milking every little quote from there and posting it as news.
