If that was the point, I completly missed it, I though he was talking about his components not supporting 1080p. As for the upscaling thing, I am well aware of it. Sometimes I wonder why games like Resistance 2 or even LBP don`t even have it upscaled but in the end I really don`t care about 1080p, 720p works just fine, LBP, Resistance 2, and Uncharted ect are perfect examples of that.

I believe the 1080p with component cables prolem is specific to the TV. I have an LG50, my PS3 is plugged with and HDMI and does full 1080p when it can, my 360 is plugged with components and displays in full 1080p when it can also. And they both have a wide range of 1080p content imho. Heck I just bought an HD-DVD drive for my 360 for 30$ Cnd and have about 20 HD-DVD movies that I got from my stores bargain bin, and they all play in Full 1080p.

I agree that they have not released many grade A games in the last few years, but they have been fairly productive in the last 5 years considering they released 16 games. 16 games! lol Thats more the Bungie, Naughty Dog, Insomiac, and Guerilla combined.
