GamePass is the horse armour of this generation. How can any studio be profitable with that model.. Just through simple economics, factoring the cost of development and marketing that goes into a release and that's when it'll hit you.. It can only be profitable if they make episodic or GaaS type games.. And I for one see more cons with that level of design.

I think a lot of people are failing to see that right around the time that this game started development, Sony studios was under heavy pressure to either give up on their rights for Spider-Man to marvel studios or collaborate with them. What we are seeing is a compromise between the two, I believe that Spider-Man in the MCU was more urgent than Disney initially lead us to believe which is why Sony gained exclusive rights to the game license of Spiderman

I fail to understand how blind summer fans can be. This thing is not going to be$400 it'll be $500+ if it's less, I'll eat crow. And the thing is, that if it is$500 why bother with it at all, you can build a good rig with that cash and do more in game with a gaming PC than Scorpio.
Steam machine by Microsoft. Cut it anyway you'd like, the writing is on the wall that this thing will play PC games, but as Spencer stated it'll be at a premium price. That price will determine if it's adopt rate is high. Regardless of which, don't be surprised if Microsoft starts selling you on indi developed games and label them as AAA new experiences.
