I think at this point if your expecting a whole new way to experience a game for you to label it next gen then VR is the only thing that'll do it for you, I see no reason to state that this game looks the same and boring as every other TPS because it doesn't I've played dead space, Gearsow, kill switch, and uncharted and I'm getting a more personal and intense feel from this game you may not be a fan of that but there are people who would like that me being one them I see pote...
I miss when g4 did this, all the damn problems that occur when your trying to just watch a stream are ridiculous, always lagging and crap I hate it, it's an unpleasant experience
That's an excellent way of saying it, it did feel that Microsoft lost sight of things so much when they saw how successful the Wii was that they completely abandon what got them in the business in the first place
@devilogrefish all the games you mentioned had limited time at the show since they where shown as cgi trailers, the majority of the conference was devoted to multiplats go on and 're watch it call of duty alone took up quite some time and that game is coming to the ps4 so try harder yourself
Microsoft usually drops the ball at e3 and even though they didn't slam dunk it at least they didn't drop it, I feel though they set themselves up to have an underwhelming e3 it wasn't bad I enjoyd all the trailers but I didn't see that one game that one game that you shut all the lights off for and your room just rumbles from the audio. they didn't show a true killer app, and what happen to them doing something that no one had ever done before at e3?
Umm no that was it , that's all Microsoft had to show, no more surprised till either gamescon or TGS
I'm a Sony fan but I always enjoy watching all three press conferences, having said that Microsoft set themselves up to under deliver, they said they'd be doing something this year that no one has done what was that? The wrist bands that's what they were talking about?? Let down not to mention a huge portion of the conference was showing multiplats, I was hoping to be wowed like when they announced halo 2 way back but I guess that's what happens when you have the smallest numb...
I was a huge mgs fan and I remember hearing kojima himself state numerous times on numerous sites how mgs4 was his last one and how it was the mgs to end all mgs so I played that game and to me it finished the series up nicely. Now this I find it hard to get excited again after I myself in my mind finished this series but I hope this game turns out great it's just not really on my radar
But I thought Xbox had all the momentum going into e3? I've been gaming for a long time, and time and time again Sony has shown with its 1st party support that they are the risk takers in this business they are the ones to stray. I'll give Microsoft credit for broadening gaming and for online and lots of other stuff, but for me Sony is loyal to its consumer. I remember when the 360 came out and saw how quickly Microsoft abandon the first Xbox and I take those examples and compare it ...
It's nice to see the president in with the gaming culture of his nation, I don't have any hatred to him or Bush and find it hysterical when you see people complaining about him like if the president really wields that much power but I'm reminded that the most vocal on here really have no education on how our democracy really works and how the Senate and the house are the ones really running the show.
I have a tv from 08 and this works like a charm , your also able to use the tv remove to navigate the ps4 menus just like your able to with the ps3 but unlike the ps3 you still can't scroll Netflix something I'm sure Sony will resolve in the next update
Extra extra read all about it the PlayStation blog just stated that new footage of the game will be shown later on today Friday May23
I felt that killzone was never used to its full potential. It had investing character design and I think that guerrilla picked the losing faction to narrate its stories around they should have picked the helgans, would have lead to more interesting stories
It's not useless but I'm guessing what the article is trying to say is that without Kinect being mandatory developer's have no real incentive to truly make a game with Kinect elements in mind. which isn't all that bad because Kinect was never nothing more then a more powerful eye toy, and that came out over a decade ago, ask yourself this how many truly engaging games have been released for those peripherals? This decision further cements the fact that Kinect was bugging more ...
It's hard for me to describe how I feel being a Sony fan I see this as good news I feel that the shift towards casual gaming us slowly steering back to the hard core and I don't know about you Xbox fans but I have a feeling that with this announcement this generation is going to be special I'm hoping this gen isn't defined by COD
Yeah the thing about your argument is that it has nothing to do with gaming at all, Kinect type technology has been around since before the original ps eye and still after all these years developer's have yet to make anything engaging in that augmented reality space, as a Sony fan this decision from Microsoft is good they are remaining competitive and I believe the focus will shift again to the hard core gamer and leave the casual for the Mobil space and Nintendo
I haven't been convinced enough to warrent a purchase from Nintendo anymore since the GameCube i loved all the Mario's from the nes to the n64 and their were a lot of titles I remember my favorite cartridge for my SNES was Mario all stars which contained a lot of Mario games I'm not bashing just to bash I'm bashing with a point and you can say this and that, that Mario games are mind blowing and u know what I believe you but I just cant purchase a system for a few games I can...
@ck1x look I'm not trying to offend and say that Nintendo games are for kids far from it they just need new ips I love playing Pokemon on my phone and I'm 26 I meant that as one grows up they get tired of what they experience as a kid it's a fact I'm eating differently, I'm watching different TV shows, hell I'm getting a new sleep schedule as I stated above I know Nintendo refreshes its gameplay for all their core games but my point still stands you can agree with me o...
I'm going to get a lot of disagrees from the Nintendo faithful but this is simply stating the truth Nintendo has a lot to think about when making their new system I truly don't believe they can live with the likes of Mario,Zelda,Kirby, metroid, and so on anymore people have been burnt out already and don't go defending them the proof is in the pudding there is a reason wiiu sales are so bad, the last Mario game I played was sunshine on the GameCube that long ago I've grown up a...
Both lost in my opinion, I had so many issues trying to watch the live feed of both that it left a bad taste, however I am excited to see gta5 come to the ps4 that's awesome didn't get to enjoy that game fully when it came out. And I am looking forward to the order as well
