Yes they cannibalized their Wii U sales(It's not like the thing was selling much), but as I said we would have found out from the patents that they were making a new console even if Nintendo hadn't confirmed it and the outcome would have been the same.
We are less than 6 months from it's supposed release and they seem confident that it will be ready for march as they have reconfirmed the date more than once and even if it doesn't make the March date and ends...
They said they confirmed it early because their deal with DeNA lead some people to think that they were exiting the hardware business to make mobile games and with all the hardware patents we've seen, we would had assumed their next console was coming and still be talking about Nintendo's next system anyways.
For me it would be the Gamecube controller or the Xbox 360 controller.
Whats worse is that some of the people here buying into this are the same people who bought into many of the other NX rumors that turned out to be fake, they just don't seem to learn.

It really is. I'm enjoying the game, but it's not as great as people let on. Essentially it's a watered-down TF2.

Neither is COD or GTA, but the kids love them. Parent's will ignore the disclaimers as usual.
Some are better than what some people make them out to be, but there are plenty of bad ones. Sega themselves have acknowledged that the quality has gone down and have said that they will focus on making the games with better quality.
People have played the original MW though and people have played BO3 which Infinite Warfare seems to be extremely similar to, that seems good enough to make a fair judgment to me.
I plan to buy it on Amazon with Prime to get 20% off and then just dump Infinite Warfare on Ebay.
That would be neat, but it would probably hurt sales of their virtual console games so they wouldn't do it.

Couldn't you have just gotten a pro controller? I dislike the GamePad too, the only games I play it with are some virtual console games, everything else I use the pro controller to play.
