I was about to start playing it but then they announced the next big update and expansion for next year. Seems like the update is going to add in features that are sorely missed so I'm just going to wait until then. I've already waited this long so why not.
What I will say though is that these shows/spin offs and sequels were always going to happen. These were all planned and started before 2077 released. The IP is massive.
Wow. Most of these are Xbox One games that are playable on Series X. That's a serious stretch.
I'm definitely not trying to be the voice of a new generation here. And I'm definitely not against using sensitive themes for setting and plot. But the conclusion Bloober came to with their themes in The Medium was incredibly jarring and poorly crafted.
I'm not going to deep dive into it, it is spoiler territory and I wouldn't want to ruin it for someone who would enjoy it.
But I played 2 games last year that absolutely botched what they set out t...
If you guys enjoyed it, then good for you but Bloober has a history of writing trauma themes into their plot and handling it horribly. The Medium was particularly problematic. People aren't advocating against Bloober for no reason.
Wow! 😬 if they have anything to do with the writing this will be a train wreck.
Oh no! This leads us down a very bad path
There have been many spin off stinkers of Resi. Umbrella Corps. And Dead Aim were even worse than 6. But 6 is still the biggest let down of the series
I wouldnt care if it did. The genre needs a refresh and if the potential of the largest user base being left untapped doesn't get another studio in gear I don't know what ever would.
Both CoD and Battlefield were once favourites of mine but both have truely overstayed their welcome.
Not much of a race when one of the contenders is striving for a participation award at best anyway
I get shivers just thinking of Tungsten Bars
Oh my word! Windbound is a decent game! Did Xbox actually just give a good game with GWG?! 😱
While that is cool, I still plan on playing A Plague Tale over that time period ha
The very early development reveals had me interested purely on the H. R. Giger influence. I'm still going to try it but I do fear it's going to be a bland game overall.
Don't feel too safe yet. They absolutely destroyed the flow Dead Space 3 with micro transactions (yes I know it had a multitude of other glaring issues also )
What the F' kind of spiteful BS is this?!
I've gotten hooked to each one of these asymmetrical multiplayer games. Put so many hours in to Friday 13th and even recently Evil Dead. I love them and Texas Chainsaw looks fantastic! But I just can't get along with DBD. I find it a nightmare to play because the community is so damn horrific.
I'd buy a sequel. I loved the first one and thought it was unjustly criticised
I've wanted to play Hot Wheels so I'm very happy with that addition
I really enjoyed it. I love a strong narrative adventure. The historical setting was a winner and the slight turn into fiction/dark fantasy was well implemented.
Looking for something to fill the 3 weeks until Requiem now.
I'm on board for the painting side of it alone
