I bought a Series X over a year ago and I haven't bought a single game for it.
But to be frank I did buy it purely because I knew I wouldn't have to buy a game for it
I've noticed 3rd party games that launch on Gamepass get severely devalued too. The likes of Back 4 Blood, Rainbow 6 Extraction and A Plague tale going for €20, €10 and even €5 in no time at all. Surely publishers won't be on board with this forever.
Platform exclusive content is a piss take. Nobody should be paying the same as another player and getting less.
The only exception I can even imagine is platform legacy characters in a game. Like when Kratos was in Mortal Kombat or Master Chief being in an another game.
Luckily platform exclusive content is usually quite bad anyway
I couldnt wait for this this game, or so I thought. Then they delayed it. It got pushed in to a pretty stacked release window.
I still plan to get it but showing the season pass content full of some of my favourite characters was enough to make me hold fire. Something the delays proved to me I was capable of.
Oh I've no doubt she's better off than me right now ha but I can't imagine she wants any of these roles to be her career highlights

As for Ella. I'm glad she can take the loss in her stride but if my acting career highlights were The Netflix Resident Evil series, The Charlie's Angels Reboot and Forespoken, I'd be worried about when my luck will run out.

I'm right there with you. I loved the Uncharted games. 4 had a very sweet ending and I feel like the series has had its time. I'm happy for the studios to move on and make new projects. Don't milk the property

To be fair the ex manager is stressing that Blizzard are against this policy and have protetested to it in the past. This is enforced by majority share holders from Activision.
ABK are an absolute scumbag company. I can only imagine they've a huge workforce who dreamed of being in the industry all their lives, now resenting ever starting careers in it.
I dont know. it just seems most of the coverage we see for Starfield is about how excited we should be, rather than how excited anyone actually is.

Starfield is an odd cookie. The game media are pushing it hugely. It's Bethesda so it'll most likely be popular but there's nearly no actual buzz about it out in the wild.
I myself have little care for it. I'd rather Redfall and Hellblade 2 get released soon.
