I really cant wait for this game. Working my way through another playthrough of ME1 at the moment to have the perfect save file ready to continue over.

Heavy Rain, Mass Effect, Demon Souls importing. I dont remember the beggining of a year ever being this hopefull for games

Many hours can be sunk into a good single player game though! I've played through Mass Effect 3 times and currently going again. Dead Space 4 times and countless amounts of plays through the original resident evils and metal gears

not only that but continuous support is an absolute must. There are many who would be interested by this but will sit it out for a while to see how things shape up. If there isn't a steady release of new things to do with Natal then a large number of people will lose interest without ever having given it a chance. Natal is interesting but the market is very tough at the moment and you have to admit the odds are against it...

Exactly! The PSeye for example. We heard about it for weeks, About the amazing motion technology and its noise reduction microphones and so on. Since then Sony have released like 3 mediocre games for it!
Now obviously Microsoft arent going to sink everything they have invested into this by doing the same but if all they are going to release are the same party type games that are already available through the Wii, Then Natal is very much doomed!
I really liked the look of Natal but the more I hear about it the more I think it's going to dissapoint. If people just let it go and wait and see then it could easily impress but if it's being hailed as the "xbox savior" then it cant ever live up to expectations.

Timesplitters 4 and Star Wars Battlefront 3 spring to mind, but concidering those studios went down the can the future of those games looks nothing but bleak :(
Having to upgrade something like a TV is inevitable though. They'll always find some sort of new technology to make us want to shell out our cash. That's just the way things work.

To those worried about importing and not liking the game... It would not be difficult to sell it off if that's case. I'm sure there are a few people around who'd even pay the games full price to get it from you

A sequel to a game can be far better than the first! It can even completely change genre (like the Conflict games) So just because Half Life 2 is an amazing game doesnt mean the first automatically is!
