I attempted importing, Bought the US version from GamesBasment.co.uk
That was over a month ago and it still hasn't been shipped. Tried contacting 3 times and only got a useless response to one of my mails. anyone thinking of importing completely avoid this site. It should be black listed

Been playing it on the PS3 over the week and yeah it is a horrible port. Loading constantly. Press Pause 5 second load for the start menu. Things that should wave like leather straps flicker instead they are just so jerky and horrible.
If you were to ask me though I think the game itself is terrible. There's a little bit of fun in the combat but the over the top cheese and characters are too much. The try to be sexy moments are gag worthy. It performs as well as 98 year old nun...
I'd be tempted to try download it if it was the PC version. Just to see if it runs alright on my laptop. Just taking a chance instead. Definitely buying this though.

And Midway filed Bankruptcy so that pretty much rules Mortal Kombat out .
Unless another studio picked up Mortal Kombat. Even if that happens it wont be a PS3 exclusive. Sony have been very vocal about not paying exclusive rights to old franchises.
Anyway I can't imagine there being much selling power left in the old MK series to warrant paying exclusive rights
Actually I read a little something about Dead Island a while back. The game is still in the works but has become a 360 exclusive. The developer has apparantly been "banned" from releasing any real information about the game by the Publishers. I dont know how true that is but it doesnt make any sense.
