I couldn't wait to play Arms. Then I hated it haha I know different strokes for different folks and opinions and so on but my god I wouldn't dream of scoring that Game anywhere near a 9
I loved Edge once upon a time but they seem to like being harsh.
I haven't got to play God of War yet, have to wait until tonight so I can't say they're wrong with their score but they certainly are going against the grain there. There just doesn't seem to be consistency.
You can't give GoW an 8 and in the same breath give Sea of Thieves a 7. I've played Sea of thieves. I've even had a bit of fun with it but it is incredibly shallow an...
It has got to be the Nintendo Online Network. There's been no more said of the beta either
Its needlessly complicated. It is very busy to look at. You shouldn't have to study the system menus to figure them out. They should be straight forward and to the point. Even trying to get through settings to sort audio devices is a pain. Having a custom theme isn't even as effective or personal as it should be because your screen is destroyed in pins
I genuinely don't think Microsoft get enough grief over the Xbox UI. For a software giant like themselves to make that clusterf**k is absolutely shocking
Maybe but they don't seem willing to actually make the effort
I kept my old PlayStation consoles for that reason but it would be nice to have the option to play them on the current system. Especially if they had a resolution upgrade like the BC games are getting with the X1X.
It would also keep communities alive on older games and stop their servers being shut down so often.
How could that be anything but a good thing ?
They were never commited that was the problem. The Xbox one benefited from a fuller line-up because Microsoft starved the 360 for the last few years of its life. A number of the launch games on X1 were originally 360 titles pushed back and jumped over gen like Ryse.
I actually enjoyed Dead Rising 3. Dead Rising 4 was bad.
I'm more along the lines of I can't believe anyone thinks Halo 5 is a good game
Its the one thing I do have to say Microsoft are getting right. I love their BC system and think PlayStation could massively benefit from it
I'm the opposite. My Ps4 is my go to. I have a pro and a standard but I don't fuss too much which I play on. I have them set up in 2 different rooms and it's more about where I can escape to play it.
I absolutely adore my Switch and I think it's an incredible machine.
I think the Xbox One S is alright. I have so many issues with it and genuinely can't recommend anyone actually get one. When the alternatives are far better. It just gets...
I was about to say the very same thing. Points 2 and 5 are completely contradictory.
If you haven't been tempted to buy an Xbox one by now 2018 is giving you nothing to push that decision.
The TR reboot was interesting. O
You wanted to know how it panned out at the end. The ancient army at the end were great enemies. It was far superior to Rise.
Like I said everything about Rise. Character, Cast, Location, Enemies, Villain and so on were all so instantly forgettable that it made Rise a mediocre game.
It had potential but squandered it with tame writing
Uncharted had some excellent character though. With some high quality set pieces and action.
I really liked the reboot of tomb raider but didn't take to Rise. I've little interest in Shadow now either
Yeah that's what has me. I have 1 twilight mission left and I just have to wait for it to cycle around again
I think we know so much of what Sony has in the works at this stage. From now through the next year or so is packed with releases. I don't expect much surprises just yet from them. Just showings of solid games we are aware of.
Microsoft has to have something. Their releases calendar is almost void and null. There has got to be something hiding in there that isn't another Forza
I was massively underwhelmed by Rise of the Tomb Raider. It wasn't a bad gane. It just wasn't a very good one.
The entire plot and cast are immediately forgettable. The whole game was a carbon copy of the first, which I know it's a sequel, I would typically be more forgiving for it but having to find all the same items and get all the same upgrades from the first game all over again just killed it with tedium.
I hated it so much personally. I deleted it to save the mosterous space it took on my hard drive and the constant updates.
I actually have both Persona 5 and Gravity Rush 2 at home to play but haven't yet. I was going to start Persona a while back but the thought of having to invest so much time into it held me off. Then I ended up spending 95 hours on Nioh anyway haha.
I loved the first Gravity Rush on Vita.
I loaded up Evil Within 2 for the first time last night and well impressed with it.
Tintler that would be the idea and the foundation is there but the execution isn't. There's such few tools to make your own adventure that you really aren't actually making one. There 3 mission variations that don't differ all that much. Next to no variation on enemy types. The whole game is a repeat of the same steps.
Which is a shame because it oozes charm. It just so barebones it genuinely disappoints me
