Further case for a soft reboot hopefully. I really want them to change up the tone and gameplay so much
The media created this very issue with E3 by mass marketing it. If this is the outcome then it's their own doing.
Saying that I dont understand people. I'd love to meet Kojima and get an autograph or a picture taken but I would never partake in a mob and hassle the man either. I don't get the panic.
Sidetrack here but I actually met Troy Baker and Nolan North last year. Quite peacefully I approached them at comic con said I loved their work and move...
Even digital only would be okay if it meant we get it
Yeah I know! It's scary to think of it being so long ago.
Unfortunately I can think of few games in recent years to disappoint me as much as Quantum Break did though. I really didn't like it
I thought the idea of the live action episodes was interesting. I love when developers break the mould and try something niche. I'm glad they tried it.
I'm also just glad I can leave it in the past and hope nobody tries to recreate it's failings. I hated Quantum Break
Alan Wake did lend itself well to being a singular game too though. Maybe there really isn't anywhere to take the narrative.
I'd love another one but realistically it's not necessary for the plot. Perhaps they have no idea what to do with it.
I think Alan Wake would stand a much better chance at success than something set in the Quantum Break universe. Even if it was on a single platform.
I've wanted an Alan Wake 2 for so long. I still hope some day they come arou d to it but maybe they just don't have any ideas where to take the plot.
I lost interest myself in Control the moment I saw it. It looked like Quantum Break and when I read about it being part of that universe I gave up entirely
I loved Remedy growing up and Alan Wake is one of my all time favourites but we can't say anything close to them being one the best single player developers out there.
They've made 1 good game in the last decade and it was Alan Wake. 8 years ago!
I'm so happy to finally have Beat Sabre myself
Naruga will be in here any moment with his trademark whinge
Yeah I didn't expect to like it after Rise but that was desperate.
Another disaster leads to Lara being trapped in some location where she has to murder every guy in sight because reasons
I had a feeling Microsoft was going to have a better showing. They had an excellent night and it was very much needed for them. The Xbox games individually don't stack up against the PlayStation ones. There is a quality in them that is just unrivalled. But Microsoft had a more exciting night.
In terms of the Last of Us looking next gen. I'm seriously starting to consider that it is next gen
Jesus they've even found a way to sell collectors edition models in fractions! That's a whole new level of rip off haha
Could it have been pulled to pad out the Sony conference ?
Me too. Don't let E3 distract you from the real story. Jurassic World Evolution is coming out ;)
I have to wonder are the long term fans blinded to this one?
That was easily one of the worst trailers for a game ive seen in a long time and they seem to be getting away with it
They had a great show. It was almost a fan service. They gave those already invested in Xbox a lot of reason to stick with it.
They won't be converting anybody after it but they have finally shown they are listening to those already dedicated to the brand
Have you seen the Surface Studio? It is gorgeous ! I really want one and I'm thinking genuinely of taking the hit and getting it
Abzu is alright. It's very slow paced but atmospheric and pretty.
I wanted to get Shadow Complex so I'll be giving that a go ( I was certain I bought that a long time ago and never finished it before selling my 360 but I can't download it from my account )
