PS3's fanbase isn't 120+ million strong like past PS consoles lol. GT series never had any real competition with most those games you listed for the PlayStation on top of the past PlayStation consoles fanbases being almost 6 times larger than the PS3 fanbase.

I wouldn't just say million but a surprisingly large chunk of the current fanbase, not to mention the new consumers that will come flooding in to XBOX because of Natal.
There is no denying what attracted the millions of Wii consumers to Nintendo will flock to Natal seeing it as the evolution of the Wii tech.
Unless Sony and Nintendo come up with something very big, there is no way in hell they will be in the spotlight this holiday season. Natal will be huge with it's launch line-up, this will be as bid as a new console launching. Then you have the unannounced holiday line-up and Halo Reach. Plus all the other AAAs exclusives coming out almost every other month this year we already know of on the 360.
Microsoft marketing will be the biggest we've seen from them ever and XBL's evolutio...

For everybody? It was pretty much a bad idea what they did with the first beta because all the hardend FPS fans are on PC and the 360.
Crazy graphics in this game probably the best I've seen in this genre so far(no I'm not talking about the almost 6 month old beta build of the PS3 version)

They should ship NN2 first, I don't think the Japanese gamers will buy Darksiders even on PS3. Maybe they're trying to get some money first because NN2 is only on the 360.
I don't think Microsoft has to say anything they don't want to. The company really believes they can change gaming, just as sure as they thought they could change gaming with online half a decade ago and even more so with the launch of the 360. All the top developers also agree and this is why they are supporting Natal.

Those graphics are frighteningly stunning. It's amazing how the supposed graphical milestone is broken every month now. There is another FPS that is impressive but I can't remember the name of it.
