Sony's come back to Microsoft jab was the equivalent of a school yard saying. (Oh yeah, your mother!!) LOL Very very weak!!
When it is a viewer run site!! LOL This is just a real world representation of how the real world is quickly jumping on the 360 bandwagon.

You have to admit that a regular DVD plays better on a High Def. tv then it does on a regular tv. This will be enough of a upgrade for the mass consumer so they will not see a need to get a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. Plus with the introduction of Apple's new Tv top box and many others soon to flood the market, downloading content is finally gaining some real buzz. The future is almost here and that is Downloading software!
I can honestly say that as a former PS fan, this is the only game I would have missed now that I'm a 360 fan!!! I will be picking up a Wii very soon so now I got nothing to miss!!! Glad I dumped Sony!!!
but those are the correct numbers given to the investors. You cannot lie about those things to them as they have so much say in the company.
As for the lack of interest, it has always been known this would happen as we all knew once all the Diehard Sony fans had there system the interest would totally die. You gotta go back to rule number one in anything in life:

The DVD is still going strong with the mass market so there is no need for this. And by the time people decide to switch, downloading content will be the thing of the future. Much to do about NOTHING!!!

The price drop will occur. It's all a matter of smart marketing and this only makes sense. By doing this then they once again will be stealing the PS3'3 thunder...or should I say wimper! LOL They have done something everytime PS3 tries to announce something big, and this is obviously the perfect time.
As for the Holday season....Halo 3!!! This November is when we will see the next masterpiece "Halo 3". November 08 will be Halo Wars and November 09 will be Gears...
You even comparing Metal Gear Solid to Halo shows how ridiculous you are. MGS is nowhere even close to Halo!! Want proof, how many PS2's were on the market compared to Xbox's last generation. And which one sold more copies?!?! EXACTLY, Halo did. Imagine how many copies it will sell this time that there will be more 360's this generation! It won't be even close! Then you say to compare Resistance to Quake?!?! How dumb can you be!!!! We compare what is out now to each other!!! Now is what matters. And when PS3 is on there second generation, Xbox will be on their third..... and so on and so on. MicroSoft has Sony by there balls this generation as they will do a price drop once the PS3 arrives in Europe and then come next Holiday season they will do there "Finishing Move" on them with the release of Halo 3!!!!
Ummm, I live in the NorthEast and I can tell you for damn sure that they are not selling like Hotcakes here. I work in Boston but live in the Rhode Island and every time I've been to a Game store they have been sitting at stores unbought. Since my job gives me free time to shop all day I'm frequently in stores and hear the same stories from the employees, "everyone says the PS3 is not worth the money and they are purchasing 360's instead. So don't try feeding everyone else that bullsh...

We all like videogames and have our favorite systems as we all have favorite sports teams as were into sports. It's human nature and also a male trait to enjoy competition. This comment was in no way doubting HD-DVD's future. (Read the Actual article it came from.) He was just taking about how this is an option for X-box users and not forced on them like Sony is doing.
Sony cannot make this Blu-Ray less PS3 simply because their games run off Blu-Ray disks. They dug there own grave now they must lie in it. To say they would have two different formats is impossible because no developer would ever go along with this as the money involved would be enormous!!!! And imagine the confusion with the customers!! You think they have a PR nightmare now?!?! Imagine if this was to happen!!

You see how they are based out of Europe. Poor saps haven't even witnessed a PS3 launch so they are still living in the same fantasy world Americans were living in before November.
Once they witness the market reaction after March their reactions will change REAL quick just like it did in America with all the Media and the fanboys.
That's funny....I bought my 360 at launch, play it everyday and I have never had a problem with it. 360 Rocks!!!
