I did not murder him (stupid name btw), is that all you do here, troll PS3 stuff? I see you non-stop in PS3 comments doing nothing but crapping on the PS3, Sony and whatnot. Is that what you find enjoyable in life? It's kinda nerdy honestly.. Do your real life friends or loved ones know how much you care to post here and the disdain you have for a video company? Isn't it a bit.. lonely when all you have is this?
Most of my friends have sold their 360's and games taking a loss, but getting a PS3 Slim in the past few weeks. Some are still holding out, some are just buying the slim and keeping their 360, but alot of them are moving on and seeing the light.
I must say, I enjoy my 360 but it's great that Sony is *finally* doing the things they needed to do to compete with MS which is good for everyone and can only push MS to be better and bring the heat in 2010.

If you mean the RROD "issue", it's more of a catastrophe and it keeps getting brought up because it brings it self up over and over again still to this day so yes, it is a big deal. Expect better from your purchases and stop apologizing for MS. Unless you have some vested interest in them, I do not see why you would defend the RROD issue in any situation.
You think "word of mouth" is what causes 360 games sales? Not as much as marketing and something called "riding the coattails of an already established franchise". You could make Halo Chess and it would sell millions. Doesn't mean it's a necessarily great game. There's much more to it than that.
Ever heard of something called "quality over quantity"? Just because a majority of folks with bad taste in music buy up Britney Spears' latest album doesn't mean it's the best music ever made. I don't sleep well knowing my money was well spent despite the game is crap simply because millions of other people were duped into buying it due to HEAVY marketing. Remember that. MS uses HEAVY marketing for a reason.. And it works.

It's milking because unlike other games that have expanded on themselves, Halo has changed VERY very little since Quake 1. Oops I mean Halo 1.

Money is important to people. When enough people are willing to ignorantly pay MS $60 for an expansion, the rest must follow or be left out. Sure, you can choose not to purchase it, but wouldn't it be better if folks stood up for having lower game prices and everyone could enjoy it cheaper? Look at these comments so far. Foaming at the mouth, Halo avatar having fanboys would probably pay $100 for the stupid game. MS knows they can rape them and they do. Over, and over, and over again. Enjoying Halo Wars there are ya, fellas? Cmon, nobody's playing that. If anything, noone will play ODST multi as much as Halo 3. It will in effect split the userbase, won't it?
Stop with the PS3 hate, it has no point in any of these comments. We're discussing the 360 game Halo: ODST and many 360 owners aren't happy with the outlook of this game and the possibility it's just another MS cash-in (like Halo Wars) that isn't bringing enough to the table to justify a $60 price tag.
If this fails, it further degrades the Halo name and shines a light on the obvious milking of the franchise. Expect more from what you enjoy, don't settle for mediocrity. Also, ...

No such thing as a "AAA Engine".. It's a AAA Game.. Engine. Get it? They are calling the title a AAA title before reviewers and the fanbase has declared it so. It's like a movie coming out claiming to be an Oscar winner before the Oscars have even come about. No such thing as a AAA engine though. It's nothing but marketing talk.

Yes, GT5 has taken just over 4 years and I'm personally fine with that. Developers shouldn't be churning out a game every year with minor enhancements. I'd rather wait for quality, thanks.
