Honestly surprised the game has survived this long. Got burned twice in the space of a few months between this and Anthem. Apparently its better now but that ship has sailed for me.

You need a PS5 for remote play on both the portal and the iPad. As ALL PS5s come with a dualsense - that wipes $70 off of that inflated $370. Then, given that almost everyone who owns a PS5 will have a sizeable smartphone and most likely a tablet...that $300 becomes $0.
The Portal has a decent (not OLED) screen with Dualsense feel (not 100% Dualsense - see PSVR2 size analogues). Another $100 buys you many, many more features than the Portal has to of...
Sadly my PSPlus renewal date is one day after these deals typically end so I tend to miss out on the save X% if you renew.

I got the SM2 bundle last month but thought they'd have opted for a SM2 slim as well rather than one bundled with MW3.

Its partial bias but also has probably got something to do with how Microsoft mismanage studios and cancel stuff left and right such as Scalebound which was pretty much complete, or the recent 10,000 employees who got laid off.
I only say bias because some act as if Sony don't do the same. See: Evolution studios as just one example.
