Lol I used to go through that cycle every year since MW2 then I stopped buying them. Recently its been zero hype and ignore. Now I'm interested again.
I have yet to play MGS5 but Witcher and Batman are among my GOTY contenders.
MGS is my favorite series though so probably.
I like what Spencer has done. If I didn't already buy a PS4 at launch I definitely would have considered an xone.
Probably still would have gone with PS4 though. None of my friends have xone so I'd pretty much have to get a PS4 to play online with them. Plus I hate how you can't upgrade the xone internal HD. Don't like how loud PS4 is though.
Also next gen, I suspect both will use AMD again so both will have bc likey with graphical improveme...
I guess I'm the only one that likes the game.
In any event, I like the premise and hope Cliffy delivers like I know he can.
I've always been completely fine with perceptual 60FPS.
55-60 makes no difference to me.
This is the first COD that I'm interested in buying in the past 4 years. Very glad I played the beta, would have just ignored COD again this year.
Now I'll likely buy it. Hoping the campaign is well paced.
It's had no impact on my ability to enjoy the game.
I've had every MGS game on every PlayStation system since PS1.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't enjoy a game more knowing other people can't play it.
Moreover, I don't realy believe 3rd party exclusives benefit any gamer, including the people getting the exclusive.
First and second party exclusives make sense obviously, but 3rd p...
Well done xone including an actual AAA game in there.
I have a PS4 but Sony is slacking in the PSN games department.
I hear Sony gives their devs a lot of creative freedom...just saying.
BC is a nice feature that is rarely used.
I rather get Uncharted Remastered than play the old PS3 games on my PS4. If the PS4 did the remastering for me, that would be a difference story but it wouldn't.
I still have my PS3 because I'd only get at most $60 for it. B/C is less of a necessity and more of a convenience. Kudos for xone for implementing it but MCC and Gears Collection are proof that people who want to replay top series rather pay to repla...
I like the idea of voting but it may not turn out well for Sony. The majority if people will likely be disappointed and rant online.
My favourite series of all time finished with a bang and my whimper.
Damn you Konami.
Beta runs better than most full releases.
And is very good.
It's actually the first time I'm interested in buy a COD game in 4 years.
Out of all the exclusives coming I'm most excited about Uncharted and Horizon.
I love the Halo series but I'm not excited about the direction the series is going.
As multimedia boxes both are lacking. They don't even support second screen from your phone.
An under $20 Chromecast or Roku Stick has more multimedia functionality.
You obviously didn't read that this is a counterpoint article. There's a link to corresponding post about why PC gaming is better in the first paragraph.
It's more debate than fanboyism.
I'm just amazed at how good the DS4 looks in that picture.
I'm not really a fan using real actors likenesses in games. I prefer when they create new people. Also, if this series lasts 20 years, will they have to try and pay these people to star in their subsequent games.
How much of the cost is going into hiring big name faces too. Of all the most memorable game characters in the past 10 years, none of them have been real actors.
I don't need to fall into hype for MGS V and Deus Ex, I'm just going to buy them. I already know I'll love them. I had no hype for Batman AK and Witcher 3 because I knew I'd at worst, I'd like them. Turns out they're my two favourite games this gen.
I get hyped when I'm waiting for a game that I'm really interested in but I don't know if it's good yet. For example, I was really hyped for Destiny
I'm hyped for Rain...
If there was a bubble for "thanks" I'd give it to you. Gave a bubble anyways though. Much appreciated.
