Great, but where is the HD-Audio this gen.
Audio is the one thing that can be pretty much exactly like real life....for people with decent A/V and speakers... and contributes so much to game immersion. Quality sound and sound mixing is so vital and so undervalued by devs. Music aslo adds so much to the feeling you get from a game.
In fact, when Battlefield rose to prominence the first thing many noticed wasn't the graphics, it was the sound...think ab...
Probably note, but I think the consoles are priced as gamers wanted.
I bought a PS4 but honestly, if xone was $500 with all the manufacturing costs devoted to power (better GPU, RAM, etc.) I would have purchased an xone. I was expecting MS to release a beast of a console to put the nail in the coffin of Sony. Buuuut again they focused on non-gaming stuff and shot their own foot and will spend the rest of the gen trying to mitigate their mistake.

I can't believe that, there's NO reason why xone can't make a game two gens old run 60FPS 1080p even with any texture upgrades.
Solid was the greatest hero the world had ever seen. He was willing to sacrifice it all and even when facing certain death he continued fighting. His resolve and sense of doing right never wavered, even when the world turned against him.
Also, big boss now sounds like the "lowest grunt" with Sutherland voicing him. Solid snake still has the voice of a cold calculated snake, not a gruff squirrel.
Not sure if it's nostalgia or not but I feel some of the maps better. Also, although the maps had less structures, each structure was completely destructible.
I enjoyed both my xbox original and 360, although, I kinda grew to dislike my 360 by the end of the gen (live increasingly seemed like a bit of a rip off).
All I know is if xone doesn't sell better expect xone 2 (or whatever) to be released in 3 or at most 4 years, with xone support dropping well before then.
As far as my gaming tastes go, PS4 already has better exclusives.
But it doesn't really matter, the biggest games are multiplats this year and they be better on PS4.
I was never really interested in Playstation Now. I'd rate my satisfaction with PS3 and PS4 very high however.

I hope so, that's one thing that's been very disappointing with the nextgen games, they still don't use HD-Audio

It was probably one of the most revolutionary games ever made.
That's bull, Sony should refund the money if the $49.99 price isn't just a sale.
Just from a business point of view - if companies want people to pre-order, and it seems they do given how much they push pre-orders, they shouldn't punish people for being early supporters.
I'm not going to pre-order anything from the PSN store after hearing this.
While I don't trust VG numbers, if xone doesn't start selling better xone owners should expect MS to release xone-2 (or whatever) within 4 years and drop game support of xone probably a year before that.
Nintendo handhelds normally outsell home consoles. So it outselling xone is not a surprise. What's shocking is that PS4 outsells 3DS.
It would be a good match, but nothing earth shattering.
Gamestop is getting a little too buddy buddy with MS. Even it's employers are pushing xone over PS4.
Time for me to stop supporting gamestop.
