No it was thanks to the backlash against microsoft. And sony giving us a second option, (maybe they where planning the same thing,) but what I believe was without the ps 4 everyone woukd have bought the xbox one, and just taking the anti-consumer practices up in the butt. (And it would make the future suck way sooner than its supposed to be lol.)

yeah like 2014 should be last year with major games coming out and focusing on last gen. by 2015 the active installbase on the next gen will become bigger anyways.

it's fine for 1st party games to be exclusive, but for 3rd party deals it sucks. It would be awesome on the ps4.
campaign is not needed. I would love to see a splitscreen in the sequel. Most important thing needed is for it to be on the ps4, which is most likely. Still considering to get the game on the x360, but I was planning on not to buy games anymore for the current gen consoles so I can focus on the next gen. And don't want to pay for a ps plus and an xbox live sub.
And the fact that it's delayed on the x360 doesn't make it any better.

they showed enough, I'm glad they only showed so much, want to know much less about games nowadays. Just like when I was a kid. Everything was a surprise it was awesome. It sucks when you already know whats coming in the game. I am glad they only showed 2 powers. So the rest can be a surprise come 21st of march.
start of gen until like 2010 xbox 360 most definetly, I wouldn't to this day buy the buy the ps 3 as how it was in the beginning. Later in the gen after 2010 or so I would go for the ps3. Start of the gen xbox was just better. It had better support from 3th party's, better looking games (even with weaker hardware), better online network, way better exclusives, way better controllers and so on. Later on when microsoft already supported the x36p way less. The ps 3 already changed a lot ...
