Hundreds of thousands of people just proved to both Microsoft as well as other video game companies (Capcom and Activision both come to mind) that they can sell rehashes of DLC tacked on with just a smidgen of something brand new, name it $60, and watch it sell exponentia...
1. They didn't buy the map pack and so it's worth it to them. 2. They knew this was coming and decided not to buy Halo 3 because of Halo 3's shallow storyline.
The other people are either sheeple (because they didn't research the game) or knew what the game was going to include (firefight, 3 new maps, and a 5 hour campaign) and are pretty dense. Either way, this title should've been DLC priced at $20.
I still find it funny that the bots have gotten three exclusives the entire year - one of which failed miserable when it lots its stats, the other an overpriced DLC remake with a tacked on single player and a not-so-great mode, and a game that Turn 10 lied to everyone about.
