Honestly, N4G's system is broken with the influx of new users they have amassed. They need to blacklist the .com names such as wordpress.com, blogger.com, blogspot.com, etc. as well as create a system based on reports.
There is no punishment for reporting from what I have seen. Once 10 approvals hit regardless of how many reports it has, it goes through.
Soda, you missed his point - he claims that Sony and Nintendo as a brand are more recognizable than Microsoft. It's true though. Microsoft hasn't established itself as the "Nintendo PS3 or the Sony Wii" (as our grandmothers like to call them) of our time. When someone who isn't a gamer sees Microsoft, they think Windows, Bill Gates, and money, not video games, and certainly not the 360.
The force they are proclaiming is the fires that ensue once the 360 RRoDs. It not only claims your house, but your neighbor's... and your neighbor's neighbor's.
It makes a nice heater though when it does work. Those 1,000,000 banned people were going to get really cold this month so 80% of them went out and bought a brand new console so they could snuggle up close.
I guess M$ did them a favor though: if it's banned, it won't cause the neighborhood to burn down. ...
Honestly the only thing M$ contributed to the gaming world is their online system (which was bound to happen anyway). They just got lucky with Halo. Had it not been for that game, the Xbox 360 would not be what it is today (an overpriced piece of trash that dies on 3 out of 5 people). In fact, the 360 probably would've looked like the Sega Saturn of consoles.
If M$ is smart, the next time they release a console, it better have a next-gen. dvd player, a non-proprietary HDD that...
I'll skin that rabbit with my meat cleaver if you catch my drift.
I cared, and I bought one regardless. I didn't touch it for 10 months until the New Super Mario Bros. game came out. That game is hella fun, but once the fun dies, the Wii will go back to the closet until Super Mario Galaxy 2 comes out. I just can't get enough of my childhood heroes (Zelda, Mario, Samus, Yoshi, etc...). That's why I don't care if they are lazy or not as long as they deliver their first party awesomeness (not this casual nonsense).
Only a loser with no life (aka a bot) would save a page, mark it in his brain to remember to check when Halo: Reach comes out, and copy the link to the members on N4G.
God d@mn, that's pathetic.
Look at all these bots circle jerking around Bungie's one-game wonder: Halo. Hahahahaha.
It's time to start copying and pasting this whenever bots come in here to brag about NPD numbers (aka US-ONLY NUMBERS):
Microsoft bans one million people RIGHT BEFORE the biggest holiday game goes on sale. Coincidence? Hardly. Microsoft reeks of desperation - they tried to combat PS3's price cut with one of their own, but the NPD numbers showed what that did. So what do the brilliant, greedy minds at M$ do? "Hey guys, let's ban the pirate userbase right before MW2 is releas...
That's all that matters, bro. Bubs+ to you.
Let's see what Sony and Nintendo spokespeople have to say about their online system:
Sony: "Our's is the best" (This is true by the way)
Nintendo: "Our's is the best - friend codes are the wave of the future!" (LOL)
Microsoft: "Our's IS the best because you pay for it! So you have to make it seem like it's worth more when all PS3 needs is cross game chat"
Please be a new Jedi Outcast...
Love how mods can't even take a joke nowadays.
That could be it. Regardless, it was a joke, lol.
Here's a new joke: Xbox 360's NPD numbers, HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Ladies and gentlemen, Master Chief's b!tch.
Haha, Keighley said blow.
"Top notch," eh? Does banning 1 million console owners sound top notch? How about $50 a year for something that should be free according to the other two established console companies? What about this year's exclusive game line-up? Or maybe the Halo Wars statistics?
This list continues on and on. This must be your first console if this is top notch gaming to you.
