He wasn't stating that it's better on X1 than PS4. It is sort-of worded that way but he clearly states that's not what he meant. If he did though, he would be delusional.

Well I have an extremely large backlog of PS3 games so what's your point? Some of them I could play on PS4 through PSNow if I thought that service was worth it, but it's not. At least with their current pricing model. If it was subscription based then sure. For the mean time, I have my PS4 hooked up right next to my two PS3's (with my original 60GB sitting on my shelf in its' box). I actually just beat The Last of Us on PS4 and I've had it on PS3 since the day it came...

Well Sony made it smaller and still had no RRoD. I might not be able to find the slim PS4 if they make one lol.

I like the slimmer X1 design but it does look a little too boring. Maybe add some more lights or grooves. I'm not a fan of how the original X1 looks.

Dammit... I hit disagree instead of agree. My bad. You will get a bubble instead.

"I do agree that digital purchases come with added risks. If, for example, Microsoft yanks support for the Xbox 360 from XBL entirely, all your downloaded games could disappear for good if your 360's HDD fails. That will never be an issue for disc-based games. I can go play my 18-year-old PS1 games right now, if I so choose. Will current digital console games be available in 18 years? Unless someone devises a system to archive and retrieve them, I highly doubt it."

As much as I would love the Uncharted series to never end... It has to. They can't turn this into Halo. Do I think Uncharted 4 will be the last? No, but I think this game would shock everyone if they actually killed off the main character (Drake/Sully). It would be an epic ending to and epic game... However, I hope it doesn't happen in Uncharted 4. They might not kill off Drake but if they did... Think about how jaw dropping that would be? Not ev...

@extermin8or

I disagree. The Last of Us Remastered is a very good looking game... but you can tell it's not a next gen title. I would not be happy if Uncharted 4 looked like the Last of Us Remastered. There were a lot of areas in the Last of Us Remastered where you could tell it wasn't made for PS4. Does it look and play better than the PS4 version? Yes, very much so. However, it's just an upgrade, not designed from the ground up.

@thunderbear

I agree. I also think that MGS and Killzone look better than Ryse as well. They run at a much better FPS, they look just as good if not better, and have much better gameplay. Killzone is not a Third Person game though. So comparing Rise to Infamous or MGS would probably be better idea. Infamous is an open environment (unlike Ryse) and has a very solid FPS, gameplay, and how about them graphics (only thing I'd knock Infamous for is the vehicle graphics). ...

Killzone could have been amazing if the series had a better story. KZ2 was great. I enjoyed KZ3 as well. Graphically KZ: SF was amazing but I found it to have the weakest story.

So you see renting your games and never owning your games as the future? I would much rather own all my games, music, etc than stream, rent, etc...

This is not the digital future. Is it convenient for some gamers? Yes. Is it convenient for people that collect their videogames? Absolutely not. Digital downloads are bad enough because you aren't guaranteed to be able to download that game for life. With physical you will have access to...

This EA thing isn't a streaming service. It's a subscription based rental system. You download the game, you play the game, you pay the monthly costs. So basically it's a copy of PS+ but for only EA games.

Netflix and PSNow are streaming services. This EA service is like Netflix and PSNOw in the fact that you are renting the game instead of owning the game.

This is a great feature for a lot of people. However, I sure do hope this, Netflix, and many other services do not start the business of streaming media (games, music, movies, etc) only. I'm a huge fan of owning my content. I don't want to have to pay monthly subscriptions to continue paying for things I could have bought.

I prefer physical but digital hasn't been so bad. Digital has a lot of conveniences. What I worry about digital is what happens the publis...

Why did he get so many disagrees? I'm assuming because of all the illiterate people that can't comprehend what he was insinuating?

If they do add this feature... The date the account was established, purchases, friends, everything, stays exactly the same. The only thing that changes is your PSN Name. Mine is Skarred and I'd like to change it. I've had that name since the day the PS3 launched. I don't care for it too much though.

Did any of you read what was in the picture? I lol'd. If some Sony rep did reply like that, I would be rolling on the floor.

4236d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's funny because Sony hasn't lost to Microsoft once, despite the PS3 launching an entire year after the 360 and with all the people that bought multiple 360's due to their systems breaking (this actually did happen). It took a couple of years before MS extended their warranty. I was working for GameStop back when 360 launched/PS3 launched. So many times people would trade in their broken 360 (they wouldn't get much money because we didn't give them full credit for a n...

I understand these aren't set prices. I'm not worried about that. I just hope this isn't the future of games. I don't want to rent and never own a game. Digital is iffy right now. Physical is the best option if you're worried about the future and owning your games for life. Digital purchase is the next best bet as long as the company doesn't go out of business and you have access to download these games for life (excluding online only games that get shutdown). A...
