I'm still waiting to try out the PS+ version of this game. I really want to play it but I don't want to drop the $$ on the game (yet).
+Bubble - "Well Said" assuming you're referring to the back-end of something with a female HDMI port. I'm not into the old technology so I stated HDMI over VGA or DVI ;)
You didn't say anything about open world but many others have. That portion of the comment wasn't directed at you.
I didn't contradict anything. Simulation is having the cars handle realistically, realistic tracks, realistic customization. Of course if you have a car game and you are featuring real life cars, you want them to look as realistic as possible. Doesn't mean it will drive, sound, or be able to be customized the same. GT vs PGR or Test Drive. S...
@Death
PS4 can, already does, and will continue to do everything XBone does + more. As for the AI in Drive Club vs AI in Forza that's a matter of programming your AI. This has nothing to do with if the machine can handle it or not. Now here is something that Forza can't do that Drive Club can: have photo realistic graphics due to hardware related issues. Will games on both systems get better looking as time goes on? Yes. Will X1 ever be more powerful than PS4? ...
I'm a huge supporter of Sony and their games. However, I don't like what they did here. They are trying to get as many sales from the impatient people that originally planned on playing the PS+ version first.
However, I understand why the did this. Because a lot of people would just get the PS+ version and play it (that is my plan). Enjoy the gameplay, the graphics, and be done with it. Especially if they're not huge racing fans.
A few reason...
Well according to almost any reviewer out there, Drive Club is the best looking racing game.
Question for you. Have you drove a car and saw the reflection of your dashboard in your car window? I have and guess what? It doesn't look crystal clear like you were to directly look at your dashboard. It's not a mirror... it's a reflection.
I'm not saying all the foliage is perfect or realistic... but they sure did an amazing job (10 times better...
@2cents
Probably because all PS4 fans had to listen to 360 players troll PS3 games for very minor differences last generation. This generation there is clear differences. Even though when it came to exclusives, PS3 had the highest quality graphics.
As for Forza, I think the track and cars look amazing in Forza. Plus you get all the customization (more customization than GT). However, the environments do not look nearly as good as DriveClub.
Wow. This game is shaping up to be amazing. I was going to pass on this game originally... but now I think I'm going to change my mind. The graphics and the sense of speed make this game look amazing. This might be shaping up to be a 8.5-9.5/10 game.
I'm hoping there is realistic car damage. I heard it's not like GT or Forza when it comes to car upgrading/customization which makes me (speaking about me purchasing no one else) less interested.
I'm very pleased to hear this news. This is great for Sony. However, I wish companies would release their exact sales to consumer numbers monthly or quarterly so we didn't have to guess/exaggerate.
I will continue to watch my Sony stocks grow... slowly but surely!
The colors are so vibrant :)
I will say, I don't know why you are getting dislikes. Obviously MS had to implement it but it's highly possible the Chinese government requested this. Not that MS would fight it, but it's likely MS wasn't going to say... oh hey China btw you are the only country that can't trade in or sell your games you beat...
I think it looks 10 times better than the PS3/360 version. The PS3/360 version were already amazing looking on 7/8 year old consoles. RockStar has really made some massive changes. Those changes will make me feel proud to drop another $60-100 (depending on if there is a collector's edition).
Sounds to me like they are trying to get their own version of PlayStation Now.
@mydyingparadiselost
Hahaha! I love it.
Disregard.
Risky to bet your left nut hahaha because I bet the PS4 version has a better frame rate and it actually has the "missing" lens flare that this article was completely wrong about.
This just goes to show that there are a bunch of gullible little kids out there that will believe anything thrown at them just so their little console can be number 1 (sorry but that won't happen).
Same things goes for all those idiots brainwashed by Fox News. They bel...
Well at least you bought it on sale... That means if your PS+ account runs out. You can still play it without being a subscriber.
I agree to an extent. It would be very easy for Konami to find out who leaked this information based off of IP address. Then they would probably take him to court. This guy is probably making some great guesses. However, I hope some of what he is saying isn't true.
My gf didn't really like playing or watching games but I got her addicted to Clash of Clans. She also really liked watching me play Tomb Raider. Hopefully after a while I can get her to play some other games in the future. I hope to get her hooked on EQ Next when it drops for PS4.
@Crazyglues I was aware of the PS+ version for $49.99. The PS store is very cluttered in terms of finding certain things easily, so I'm sure a lot of users are unaware of this.
I +bubbled you because that information should be valuable to many other potential Drive Club purchasers.
