So after so many, and I mean, soooo many updates to X1 tools and cpu cores update after the removal of kinect and API updates to Xbox One and all that stuff I keep reading about the X1 becoming a super-console, it keeps under-performing compared to the PS4 as it did at launch? I don't get it, but don't worry people, Direct-X 12 will make the Xbox One the ultimate machine I hear about for so long become reality... and then... maybe not.
After so many years without new ...
Having no issues on PS3 OR PS4 in Portugal.
It looked absolutely pathetic to be honest, not fun, or cool or original, just really lame. Good for us the Video Game version of it looks the opposite.
I think the gameplay is fantastic, so much that it's the only game I platined ever, not because I wanted the platinum but because I played it so much it eventually happened. I'm not hyping it either, it IS the best looking game, and of course the courses with direct sun light will look more bland, as in real life a desert looks more bland than a rain forest, so I don't see your point there.
I made a video with all the different weathers in a single track edited in...
Honestly no game looks more worthy of being called next-gen as Driveclub, including all genres, being that The Order also looks apart from the rest. This annoys SOME PC gamers alot because their very expensive and powerful machines have nothing as impressive to show of as some console exclusives. Some better resolutions and frame rate are the only things still saving some face of the most radical PC gamers, a good example of that being project cars and the Witcher, but still those games don...
I love building PCs and mess around with all the technicalities, but, PC's feel like traitors all the time, you can start building an awesome PC and by the time you end an already better component is out and you feel outdated already, I still remember when a Voodoo by 3DFX was all the rage...
Then there's the local MP aspect of it, or the lack of it I mean, I have kids now, PCs suck as local MP machines, they tend to get noisy and need constant cleaning to...

Believe me, it's not only the rain effects that look better on Driveclub, the surroundings, the cars, the interior details, the lightening, the skies, the effects like birds flying by, the reflections on the windshields, the tunderstorms, the rainbows, and many other things, all look better on Driveclub, people can bash Driveclub all they want, but it's by far the best looking racing game ever made, being 30 fps and not 60 might be very important for some, but not me honestly, actuall...
Sony said themselves that Portugal is the country with the highest market share of Playstation in the world... This isn't by accident, Sony went to the trouble to start localizing games to Portuguese and helping consumers easy payments among other things that Microsoft or Nintendo never cared about, respecting and valuing seems paid of to Sony.
Are we tired of pointless articles?
YES, YES WE ARE!
And I prefer stability updates to a slow or erratic gaming system.
My nickname says it all.
@sorane Boy, you need help. DRIVECLUB is the best looking racing game ever made, it's not even a subject for discussion. "switching out car models among other things for those fake photomode shots" Ahahahahaha, do yourself a favour, instead of criticizing a game you have obviously NOT played, go do that and prepare to eat all the crow you can handle.
This is Just Kojima trolling everyone, maybe there's something in the game related to all this, Kojima is crazy enough to pull a stunt like that...
It was never a bad game to begin with.
All my learning in Japanese finally payed out! Oh wait, I never learned Japanese, pointless video then!!
I'm no "insert any game here" fanboy, I like to play games, no matter the platform they're on or the frame rate they run on.
Project Cars is a game that looked completely unreal one year ago, with mind-blowing beautiful graphics and car models and gameplay features, now it seems all it has is 60fps (which fail to impress me), and everything else is gone, maybe the devs are compromising everything to tap on that millions of consoles market, or maybe the game ...
Honestly, BOOTH look awful! And disagree all you want, but that 60fps "smoothness" looks like crap, it's just odd to look at, maybe because 99.9% of TV media we consume is 30 fps (or 50i) and I'm to used to that frame rate.
Driveclub looks much better and I'm happy it's not 60fps, I never ever had a problem with 30fps, so even if I'm 1 in 1 million, screw 60fps, specially on these two games, I never saw 60 fps look so bad ever.
this "Major" Nelson is so fake that it gets me uncomfortable, how does having is signature on the box adds anything to that edition I have no idea, to me it would make it worth less! This is one guy Microsoft would be better withOUT!
I'd love if they chose Lisbon!
Same car I used in my weather/Time of day montage on Japan, you can watch it here if you like this kind of stuff: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I have a PS4 to and I love it, I don't care for 60fps on games to be honest, I never had problems playing with 30fps and on some games I just don't even appreciate the aesthetic look the 60fps bring to games.
But I'm kinda pissed for my fellow X1 gamers, what was Microsoft thinking when they designed the X1??! After having so much success with X360 due to their hardcore gaming and robust online, they completely betrayed their fanbase with a box designed to watch T...
