Anybody with half a brain will wait until 2014 and upgrade to the next generation GPU from nvidia (Maxwell).
$399 will be the list price IMO.
360 SOC (if true) would add a lot of power to the system if totally accessible of course.
True. The average console retard doesn't understand that ramped up PC's are about 10 years ahead of consoles and a new PS4/Xbox3 will still be less powerful than a PC equipped with a GTX580.
I don't blame game developers though. They are going to target the platform with the most people on it and that is currently the consoles. Spending millions to make PC people happy is not worth it.
The reason people dislike EA is because they have killed a lot of awesome franshises.
What happened to Ultima? Wing Commander? Magic Carpet? etc, etc, etc.
Consoles are no where near as powerful as loaded PC's. They are also no where near expensive.
That all being said (PC's are better), why doesn't nVidia shut fuck up here?
Another article designed to be sensationalistic and inflammatory in order to bring in traffic to a shitty site I will now add to my blocked sites list.
Who gives a shit. None of this matters. Manufactured crisis.
A lot of you guys are dumb and have no clue about business. Fanboyism is all that matters. Oh well.
Bullshit. The PS4 is already out dated. It doesn't touch a high end GTX680 coupled to an Intel Ivy Bridge CPU.
Of course, it doesn't need to either to produce amazing graphics and provide a great system base that will last for years to come.
The PS4 will be a kick ass system in all liklyhood, but more powerful than a PC? Nope.
Does it matter? Nope.
I wont be paying any more than $400 for it. I can wait.
Developers should lose lots of money when they release shitty games. If they don't what other incentive will they have to produce good games?
PC's have always been more powerful than Consoles, that is just a fact.
However, they have also cost a significant amount more.
Stupid article. I am sure they are all shaking in their booties.
Game journalism is shit.
All irrelevant, as we saw in this generation.
$400 for me is the abolute highest price I am willing to pay this go around, and that is even pushing it.
I just don't get the enjoyment out of these things that I used to get, or find them to be worth that money anymore.
$250-300 is more in line to what I think a new console should cost.
Either way, while I will follow the new ones closely, I may hold off until on purchasing them. The XBox RROD problem and the PS3's 900 different versions mak...
What!?!
Battlefield has a campaign!
;)
Junk it, we don't need it.
I enjoyed Halo 4.
Don't give two shits about multiplayer.
Article is shit.
Look at this one saying the 720 will be MORE powerful.

My point? Its all bullshit until we get specs.
Ya, I am sick of the FPS genre as well, and having been playing it since its conception, I've put more hours into it than most.
Games in general are starting to bore the shit out of me. Minecraft is probably the only unique thing to really interest me in the 5 years.
