I agree with you. The smart phone market has moved in.
That doesn't mean there isn't room for these dedicated handheld gaming devices, just that the market is much smaller than it was 5 years ago.
I think a lot of people probably look at it and go "ya, I don't need it". I've owned most of the previous Handhelds, and that is what I did. I just don't have an interest and 2 or 3 titles isn't going to make me do it either....
I agree with you, it wont be 2 to 1 and the other people here thinking that are idiot fanboys.
However, MS needs to compete at $400 and probably will. XBox One isn't worth $100 more, at least not in its current state with Kinect.
If it had a lot of awesome Kinect features, sure, but not today, and that is the only reason that it is sold for $100 more.

The WiiU is crap. It isn't going to do well and is essentially "done".
If they had brains, they would drop hardware and switch to a software company, releasing their games on Xbox, Sony, IOS and Android.
I have not purchased anything yet either and probably wont until Destiny comes out, as that is about the only game coming out this year that excites me so far.
Halo 5 does as well, but I am not sure I want to buy a system JUST for Halo 5 until the price drops about $200 and there is a few more killer games available on the Xbox One AND they shrink it.

Still love the game, play through it yearly. Great story. Original, exciting, well told, etc, etc. UI was a bit clunky and I hated the mining/driving part of the first game, but it was great.
Hopefully EA treats it with the respect it deserves for ME4 and doesn't Assassin's Creed it to death.
