Cool. I don't care of course, because Xbox is not worth buying. You can play all the games on your PC, in many cases, better.
The real system to buy is Nintendo Switch and Sony Playstation, because then you get access to great exclusives.
This isn't a zero sum game. If you go out of business like Sega did, then you're a loser.
I don't want to know the specs, I don't care. Playstation is my console of choice due to better games.
Two GPU's that are both identical TeraFlops can exist, but one can be 50% faster than the other, just because of how its core's work. There are also different ways to rate Teraflops.
The point is, the 9.3Teraflops we hear for Sony and the 12 Teraflops we hear for Microsoft, might actually end up being the same performance in the end.
Ya, this is a lot for gamers who have no idea about how their systems actually work to get their heads around, but...
I would like a remastered version of Bloodborne as well to be honest. 4k textures, 60fps, that kind of stuff.
Down vote me all you want, but I'm not talking about up scaling. I don't my games to look like Doom, which is how they will look at that resolution for years to come. Or run at 3fps.
I get that most people on this site have no technical ideas and think that 8k is really a thing that will run at 120fps at 8k with ultra settings, but they are wrong.
If you say water is wet, people will down vote you here. Then report your posts, and chances are the mods will delete it.
It gets better the further in you get, provided you enjoy the story line. I only made it about 2 hours in on my initial play through, then left it for about 12-18 months, before coming back and really enjoying it the second time.
Yes, because 8k is going to be really viable on this system. If I wanted my games to look like a Switch game at 8k, I would buy a Switch.
Microsoft will be second place, again. All they do is respond, they never lead. So they have a powerful system, so what?
The problem with Xbox is this:
Why do I need one? Answer me that.
Yet why do I not care?
Nintendo needs to put out a complete new Switch by 2021 IMO, making a credible jump to 4k and keeping docked as an option. Yes yes I know that docked mode isn't the "primary" mode for Switch, its more of a nice to have, but Nintendo has stated that its roughly 50/50 in usage numbers so I think it is important, even if they can not compete directly with Sony/Microsoft. I love my switch for Nintendo games, but I play them on docked mode.
It needs at least a ...
Death Stranding was my "best game" of 2019 actually, I had a total blast playing that game.
I am gleefully looking forward to Elden Ring, Doom Eternal, Dying Light 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, Cyberpunk 2077 and whatever the 2020 Assassin's Creed game will be for this year. Obviously, we will probably see some other games that get announced as well.
System Shock, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Beyond Good and Evil could also all be on my radar, b...
I didn't care much for the ending, but the game was fantastic.. My favorite series.
I have no problem with $500-600, but I understand how many find that expensive.
Of course they suck, almost as much as fan boys who defend it. I wish no exclusives existed, and we purchased consoles that differentiated themselves on other features, but that wont happen for a while yet.
Phones are subsidized up to $20/month with a carrier over 2-3 years on contract as well, enabling the retail price to look lower. Consoles don't have that, so it isn't like you can crap on gamers for not wanting to spend $1000.
Don't care. Have not played the first one, and Xbox needs a lot of games before I'll consider it.
Both are good games, worth playing through and experienceing the worlds. They have issues obviously, but still great.
Meh, its obvious they didn't want to pay enhanced licensing fees for using the faces of people from the movies.
As for backlash, who cares. They are in the ballpark.
