Memorable JRPGs are alive and well in Japan. We just dont get many of them localized because the focus on online multiplayer this gen and the western media blitzing all over them once they do arrive has killed them for us. it really sucks because JRPG's are still my favorite genre. I only play shooters on a rare occasion. The good ones that actually have a storyline and not just shoot everyone you see.
This game actually has quite the chance for success being on the 3DS. With the library of games being so small, people are currently more willing to try things they otherwise wouldn't have. 3.6 million 3DS owners out there with very few games to play at the moment. This one has a huge chance of taking off since its better than just about every single 3DS game released thus far. The only argument one could have is that maybe street fighter is better.
YES YES YES! Another reason I'm glad I managed to grab a 3DS for very cheap. Never got to finish this on PS2 so now I'll have the chance. This and Zelda will finally make the purchase worth while, as I have zero 3DS games at the moment.
I think they're just going to release 3DS versions of Black and White. Its genius to be honest. You can also see moments in Black and White where 3D was obviously meant to take place.
- Badges flying at the screen
- Running across several of the bridges
- The way you're tossed through the air in certain gyms.
- the legendary pokemon flying at the screen.
There were a few other moments that I think were meant to be in 3D and I c...
I bought one. Wasn't planning on doing it originally. Not until Pokemon 3DS was released but a buddy of mine won 3 of them from his job and gave me one for $85. Hard to turn that down.
Sold the DS Lite. Its the end of an era for me. No 3DS games though. They all suck. Still playing Black and White and slipping some Golden Sun: Dark Dawn in here and there. Currently waiting for Zelda which I've already paid off. That'll be the game I play on the go this June, with ...
You want me to forget the NGP huh? No thanks.
Honestly no offense to anyone in Europe, but I don't see them getting this first. History repeats itself and if anyone was to get the first it would be Japan. Now given their recent situation the alternative to that would be the states. That's just the way things seem to go with Sony.
Also, I wanna know what third party games are gonna be at launch as well. Uncharted is obviously the killer launch title in that list though. Hopefully Sony does get it done because a k...
August 30th has been the rumored release date for some time now
While JRPG games may follow the same formula often, so do WRPG games.
How many time have we seen randomly generated or user created character "x" step up from nowhere and save the world? Often times this character is given no backstory at all. He/she is just there for some odd reason.
How many times have we seen that same character fight an assortment of goblins, skeletons, werewolves etc?
I'm a dragon age fan but bioware are some pre...
Damn. 533 Percent? thats a huge increase.
Looks like they're expecting 3D to really take off this year. Must mean the tech is getting cheaper to make and prices are falling.
Europe may have a shopping spree but as you all can see in the last few months consoles in the states having been selling upwards of 400000 a month. That's not happening anywhere else in the world. And this isn't the holiday season.
Yes, the 360 did pass that mark about 6 months ago. Meaning Sony was able to get there 6 months faster than Microsoft given their year head start. ;)
So on Average it seems that the Xbox outsells the PS3 by 100,000 a month in the states.
That Average is exactly the same in Japan with the PS3 outselling the 360 by roughly 25,000 a week.
That brings us to Europe where the PS3 is currently leading, and the rest of the world where the PS3 is currently leading. You do the math
Left 4 Dead Please!
I watched E3 while on vacation last year XD. The wife and I drove a few hundred miles down to the beach and I made sure she was busy with while the Big three were on.
I understand why people believe this thing will be priced high but I honestly don't. The PS3 is sitting at 299 right now and I just don't see how Sony could price this higher than their home console.
the screen is the main thing I could see jacking up the price a bit but other than that I don't think so.
The processor is simply a modified version of the PS3 one so I don't think that'll bring the price up.
The touch panel...
I really hope this is true. No offense to you guys in the UK, but I'm the the USA and I want my NGP now! Even if the damn thing cost me 599 US Dollars (which it wont) I'm still buying it.
Lol, the pictures this guy takes are ridiculous.
His comments are even more ridiculous. If Sony's shipped numbers surpass Microsofts shipped numbers he'll have a lot of words to swallow.
Lol Quagmire
The psychics of N4G are in my head again!
The story so far with FPS games? I didn't know there was one.
