Yeah. And ppl need to understand that the original studio working on SP was not compromised in any way. So I don't think it's ruining anything.
BF life post-patch will be soooooooo good. Sunshine and rainbows!
Man, that would have been real tough to balance and probably would have been a pain in the ass for BioWare. I don't mind the simple horde style MP. Doesn't distract too much from the SP.
In reply to Trendy Gamers: I guess not so surprising though. Too glitchy at the moment. Freakin' "snipers" MAV-ing their way to the top highway.
Oman is pretty sick. Also enjoy that Karkand. Could definitely go for some wintery maps though.
I will say that I like the transitional phases on the more linear maps like Op Metro and Davamand in Rush (Jet bombing and base jumping). It's silly and not that important but kind of adds to the "story" of a match.
When it comes to Op Metro, I wish Conquest would have a smaller, shorter version of the tunnels so that more of the fighting could be done in the streets and in the park. That's why I love SQ TDM on Op Metro.
You can definitely see a bit of MoH in BF3 when it comes to weapon customization. Also the inclusion of faction specific weapons.
Edit: And personally, I definitely wouldn't cry if they did away with the pointstreaks. I know they won't since they want to compete directly with CoD, but I'd rather they got rid of them. It just seems "tacked" on and doesn't really add to the gameplay other than frustration.
I heard it was under 6 months. They probably spent more time on BFBC2: Vietnam, and it definitely showed.
Map layout.
It can't just be another choke-point camp fest. And I get where they were trying to go with the high damage, but it just didn't make for good gameplay. Since they're including some sort of hardcore mode in Warfighter, I'd say lower the damage/raise the health in regular mode.
If they're gonna stick the higher damage, they should tweak the maps to make them more open (but still with cover) to provide better flanking routes and m...
Did you fill out a survey? I wish you luck man.
I think (and hope) that Frostbite 2 will be sticking around for a while. The cool thing is that by the time BC3 rolls along, they'll probably have gotten a much better handle on the engine.
That's why I love the BF series. I feel like I could play it with my dad and we'd both enjoy it.
Actually, it was a friend's dad that turned me away from CoD and over to BF!
BF will always be my true love, but what Vonderhaar has been hinting at for BO2 sounds promising. It might run on the same engine, but Treyarch SEEMS like they are willing to make some core changes.
I think DICE knows why people appreciated (and still do) Bad Company 2. Also, because it's a spin-off series, I think they'd make a conscious effort to differentiate it from their main 'Battlefield' series. Basically, my hopes are high that they will stick to what made BC2 so fun in BC3.
Haha, Move. That's great!
I'm kinda glad Xbox is left out of the cross-console support. I don't really wanna go up against PC dudes :)
Yes! One of my favs in MW2. Hope it happens.
Wasn't it confirmed a while back that DLC would be available on day-one (included for CE owners)?

The combo idea works out pretty nicely eh? The MP is a lot tighter than I expected it to be.
