Unless Sony have managed to built using totally stock parts, and got huge bulk buy discounts on those parts, I doubt it'll be less than £400.

It's VERY close, but for me Dark Souls wins because it's weapon upgrade paths are not so impossible to complete.

I'd like NG+ to be even harder. Dark Souls is great, but NG+ isn't that much harder than NG.
NG+ could give enemies new moves too, instead of just more HP.

I think this is FUD. People are trying to damage the PS4 hype before it's even been announced.
The NEXT gen war has begun :-\
PS+ is the ONLY way I can backup my Dark Souls game saves (to the Cloud), so I got it for that reason.
But now that I have it I must say that PS+ is great value. For the price of 1 game you get loads of free stuff including early access to beta/demos.
Hope it carries forward onto PS4.
PS4... please be secure, no hacking scandals. And no more problems with multiplat games not running so great on the Sony machine.
Oh and faster bluray too, so we don't need mandatory installs.
Forget God of war, it reminded me more of Dark Souls (from what I saw of it, didn't watch it all).
Yeah, it's probably people trying the hair dryer trick on a YLOD'd machine. Maybe people without a suitable hair dryer thought a microwave would work(?).
BBC Watchdog program showed PS3s been repaired in a special oven, but stripped down to the motherboard of course, maybe people just remember the "fix with an oven" part.

PS4 seems to tick all the right boxes.
The Devs are happy, it was designed with their input.
Gamers should be happy, it appears to be a very capable machine. And it's focus on simplicity, ease of use and speed of operation sounds great.
But someone will always have a moan :-\
