It's a launch game. I'm sure that given time most next gen games will be 1080p.
Nice to see blu-ray capacity fully utilised, now that both console are using it.
PS4, day one (29th Nov in UK) :D
Upscaling is a good trick to maintain frame rates etc., but it can cause jaggies.
Hopefully the X1 has good AA capabilities. 360 had hardware for it which provided AA for "free", but developers didn't alway use it for some reason.
Nice! And a stealth advert of the great features of PS4 :)
Probably.
5 for me :( I'm in the UK.
Anyone remember Cartman pacing up and down waiting for the Wii to be released? Come on, Come on!!
Lol
So what resolution does the X1 render CoD:G at?
Edit: I hope rendering at 1080p doesn't result in any loss of control responsiveness. CoD has always tended to be a twitch shooter.
Next gen is gonnna be awesome which-ever console you choose :)
My TV only does 1080i, d'oh! :(
Blu and green should never be seen ;)
If the on-paper specs are to be belived then the PS4 version should have the edge over other console versions.
Puzzles me why you can't do this with X1 when it was so easy on X360.
Agreed!
Some people trying to spread F.U.D. again, sigh!
Damn! I was going to put my PS4 inside a sealed box, there goes that plan :-\
/s
If any console is placed inside a box without proper ventilation it will probably overheat, eventually.
The fact it gives a user message instead dying shows it's designed to protect itself, which is a good thing :)
Edit: Assuming this is even true, since Sony have now denied it.
Only 900p?
Killzone Shadowfall, 1080p @ 60fps in multiplayer. Just saying :)
