I'm a big fan of the Souls series, and I played it yesterday morning. Wasn't that impressed.
I know it's a beta, so its incomplete/unfinished, but didn't like the new menu system (Items/Equipment/Stats).
Combat didn't feel right.
Frame rate was variable, ranging from 60 to 30 fps (I'm guessing). I hate that, just lock it to 30.
Hopefully it'll all come together before release.
I'd prefer it locked at 30fps if they can't get a stable 60fps.
If they lock it down to 30fps they should be able to include even more detail (they'll have spare time in each frame).
I'll be so glad when these machines are released and all this stupid speculation can stop.
Or the footage was ALL spectating using a PC.
