Some will say they are no where near photo realistic, but in my opinion games like Heavy Rain, Beyond, & Quantic Dream's tech demos do a good job of facial animations.
I'm the same, but I sometimes use male avatars, & tend to jump around a lot just to amuse myself when nothing is happening or to not draw too much attention.
You really should go through the walking dead games first, since they're relatively short compared to other games ^_^

I vividly remember playing this a lot with my cousins back in the day.
We could never beat the game no matter how hard we tried. By the time we got to the last boss, our continues were used up & we were on our last lives. Nostalgic x)
Depending on the day, I usually game for about 1 hour or maybe longer. I try to balance out my work schedule, but have to at least game once a day.
Likewise, any new survival horror is a welcome addition. :D
I'm really hoping that there will be a ps4 version.
One of the genre that the ps4 is currently lacking is fighting games.
Doesn't matter if it's not 1080p or 60fps. I'm still very much looking forward to this game.

Actually I've been subjected to what you say many times. As soon as I start talking online, say in a game of Call of Duty or other popular shooters. I get bombarded with guys being sexist. Calling me a you know what. Getting talked down, not to mention the constant creepy message, asking for naked pictures..etc
In saying so, I learned how to cope with it though....
I'm appalled by this to be honest. It's an insult to us female gamers who actually do play video games.
Thoroughly enjoyed both Rez & Child of Eden despite their simplicity gameplay.
It's a shame that they didn't sell well. I would've love to see another style of these games on the new consoles.

Many of my finest gaming hours on the SNES, PSone, PS2 era, were dedicated to this specific genre.
Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears,Xenosaga, Shadow Hearts, Wild Arms, Persona, Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden, The Legend of Dragoon, Skies of Arcadia, Lunar, Breath of Fire, Grandia, Dragon Quest, & Final Fantasy ( When it was still made by Squaresoft ) the list goes on.

I remember playing this back in the day. Sure it has it's flaws, but if you're willing to look past the minor issues, there's a lot of fun to be had with the game.
It's maybe just me being wishful, but I really hope for a new Gataway title for the PS4.
I personally still come back to playing Psone Snes, & Sega Genesis games. There's a real fun factor back then, where it's about having fun in games. None of the heavy emphasis that's placed so much on resolution or frame rates like now days.
