i wouldn't put all the blame on developers, its usually the publisher that puts all the pressure and hype on their devs and when they don't deliver there is backlash in the community, classic examples are EA and Activision
the majority of Sony's games are PSOne Classics, those that have been remastered don't have an online component such as the GoW collection and the upcoming Team Ico collection, plus i think it also depends on the developer and if they want to implement MP on a remastered game especially if it is a 3rd party and not a game that is owned by Sony/MS and published by those respective companies

what would really be awesome is if there were consequences to killing random pedestrians, say one of them is apart of a gang/mafia, they get wind of you randomly just killing them, they would come after you or killing some random person, hearing about it on the radio and how the family is suffering because of their death, it would bring the world to life

i think GameOS being so segmented is hell for the PS3's ram since it has to keep going into sub-menus whenever you want to get where you want to be
i think you fail to realize the number of "newb" players, it happens in every FPS, i don't think its fair to fault a game like MW3, it more has to do with experienced players taking advantage of those who have no idea what they're suppose to do
