Truth is, blu ray is almost always discounted, so much so, that I would never expect to pay more than twenty dollars for a blu ray disk.
I don't and many others don't find it pointless at all. I didn't buy my psp because it's portable. I bought it to play games I cannot play anywhere else. And most of my gaming is at home, even with my psp.

but there are a lot of times where you're being shot from above in SOCOM. You know the direction in the x-y plane, but not the z. As per my comment below, I think speakers on the z axis would be amazing.
Ummm, that's what the z axis would be.
But personally, I would prefer a 7.1z instead of the 7.1 that is standard now. Most bluray audio's 5.1s are rated higher than their 7.1 counterparts.
So this, w/ the head tracking software from yesterday, along with Virtuaboy 2.0 (as in one that works properly), THAT is gaming nirvana.
